I disagree. AAA has been actively trying to present the Mega title as more important in the last couple years. Especially when Del Rio won it. There's been a concerted effort to move to a more WWE style presentation with the Mega title being more of the centerpiece of the company, even before the buyout.

While it's true that the Mega Title isn't that big of a deal, it's still more important than every other belt in lucha by default. Because the rest are so irrelevant.
