Since returning Punks best matches were with Seth, Cena, Sami, Drew, and Gunther. Only one that you can argue he got carried in was Gunther(I disagree but there's a case for it). His best was Drew HiaC and Sami on that random Raw. Make of that what you will.

Well it was booked properly. Gunther was fucking up Punk the whole match. Punk would get a little offense in and Gunther would just stomp him out again. The story was that the only reason Gunther lost is because he started playing with his food too much.

Also it the amount of damage it took to put Gunther down made sense. Punk had to bust him open, do all his signatures, submission attempts, and two GTS's. He didn't tap in like two seconds like he did against Jey, which was dumb as fuck btw
