So now that the dust has settled, what was this?

>Work all along
>Seth tweaked his knee and thought he injured it, worked into storyline
>Seth had a previous knee injury and worked it into a match to take a month off to get it checked out

That's Paul just saying it's a four-star match to put it over. He's not quoting Dave or Cagematch ratings like a mark.

Rating systems for movies used to be four stars. The same was actually true in wrestling as well.

I don't believe it, I think he actually tweaked his knee there and decided it best to end the match but it was never a serious issue.

Go back and watch his SME match with Knight. He's obviously working. If Seff doesn't give it away, the production does. They would've cut away from him more.

He didnt tweak his knee. You can tell it was an act by the way he was hopping on one leg. You don do that with a knee injury. He would have gone down right away if it was real

If you have a bad knee and you're used to it fucking up on you then it's possible you won't just hit the ground.
I have a torn acl and random stuff fucks my knee up but I don't fall over.
I'm just saying it's possible especially with Seth.

I tweaked mine once to where I was sure I needed surgery, I didn’t, but yes you instinctively put slight pressure on the hurt knee and just collapse, and thats just a minor tweak

It was a work only Seth could orchestrate. LA Knight was pissed even when the cameras weren't on him. He went to the back and told medical he felt something move, tear, pop, and they followed protocol until he was cleared.

You could tell the rest of the show was derailed after that. Production was all thrown off. They aired about 20 min worth of adds / promos before Goldberg came out, then ran another 5 min of adds. People that were there in attendance said they didn't know what was going on. Even with all the extra time they had, production still botched Goldberg's speech, because they were so thrown off. Seth 100% worked his employer, and got rewarded for it.

He did hit the ground, but it was an act. Before he goes down, he's hopping at first for a few seconds, like it was an ankle injury. But if it was a knee, he wouldn't lift the knee on it's own, which was his first reaction if you watch the video. That's how you know it was fake.

He's being honest. He knows it wasn't a 5 star match, but 4 is still pretty awesome.

Meltzer got lucky. If you take random guesses for a living like he does you're bound to get one right a few times a decade, this would be the first thing he's "right" about since pre Covid.

like this guy said >>18439314 when you already have a fucked up knee you manage the pain and tweaks better than the first time you fucked it up. I know because I got a busted knee as well and nowadays when I tweak I don't fall or anything, I just feel the spot being cold, then hot, and then I can mostly walk it off until I get home, put some ice and rest

Work all along. There was that one dirt sheet guy that said he heard about even before the injury angle. I think the whole "well it was a minor injury worked into a major injury" angle was a massive cope by all the other dirt sheets who didn't get the scoop.

100 percent work. Think about it. What other type of leg injury just goes away after 3 weeks of rest? Seriously, name one. It's garbage, all of it.
