He leaned too heavy into the good guy persona / always cheerful big chungus. It became tedious and transparently fake. Should have been more normal. He started acting when he should have been normal.

Also, he started doing the same character in all fo his movies, slightly funny strong guy type. Big mistake. Viewers like variety.
