Try and stay cool brother. Stock up on some ice packs or even just freeze some bottles of water. Tuck those sumbitches under the back of your knees and it'll cool you down quick

As another US anon you're right but the UK is weird. It's just not structured for hot weather. AC isn't a typical thing no less central air. Buildings heat up super quick and are insulated to maintain the heat. 70 degrees for us is like 100 for them even though it is only 70 degrees

Americans live in houses made of plywood, all of ours are bricks and triple insulated and double glazed and in summer turn into ovens.

It does though. Lots of old people end up hospitalized or worse when the UK goes through heatwaves that get bad

That's Europe, there's many hotter places in Europe than the UK lmfao, like Spain and Greece. Same amount died in US.

A heat death in America is because some 85 year old boomer in Florida or Arizona had a heat stroke playing shuffleboard when it was 120 degrees outside

Your outdoor summers are worse, your indoor summers are better.
Let me know if you have to sleep in 90F bedrooms. That's what our bedrooms are at night, all night, all summer long, thanks to shitty winter-focused architecture.
