And with the way, they book the slow glacial pace that they book they have nobody built for the spot next year. They could have. They’re not hurting for a young talent with a chest refused to go off that Japanese tradition. I was taking 5 6 maybe 10 years to build someone. Might wanna speed it up and start pushing the young guys.

When they lost AJ Styles they started pushing Omega the very next day. When they lost Omega they started pushing Jay White the very next day. NJPW had always managed to find the next guy to push but for some unknown reason they just refuse to push the new batch of guys in any meaningful manner, and now Okada, Naito, Ibushi and Osprey are gone and there's simply no one to replace them. I remember seeing some JP comments joking about how Takeshita, a DDT guy, ended up being a bigger star than any of the new NJPW guys so that's probably why they're pushing him now.
