Loudest pop I've ever heard
Always skip to the part where dx are fighting on the outside

I shit you guys not, if austin ever followed a hollywood career, he would be more famous than the rock and would get a academy award since he can genuinelly act and even do voice acting.
But the man loved wrestling more than The Rock.

ae was kino, nothing like it, literally everyone i knew loved it, even my mother and grandmother
you would discuss it at school the next morning, everyone had the merch, it beat things like football in the ratings
the last time wrestling was ever cool or popular
now it's for ugly fat manchildren who would call the ae 'le problematic misogynistic, transphobic'

the funniest thing about this is that it aired the same day as the fingerpoke of doom. and tony schivonee spoiled mankind winning the beld saying "that will put butts in seats" and it caused the biggest channel change in history at the time kek. 600k+ people changed the channel to wwf to see this kino

I remember he was gonna be in Scream 2. Then one day he was no longer in it. The characters name is even a direct reference. Probably because he gets killed.

why would he play his music and draw attention to himself? Better to just sneak to the ring, no?

I miss the fans as much as the wrestling. Everyone was fully engaged and invested in what was going on. They were invited to play a role and add to the moment, not watch through a phone screen until they can make it all about themselves whenever the next singalong starts.

the big difference between western society in the 90s and the present day, is that before smart phones and social media, people were happy to just be a fan. to live life with more sincerity instead of the modern performative lifestyle.
it's really depressing and there's no going back. a world full of main characters is awful.

It's funny how even though Jim Ross is the commentator mainly associated with Austin, that Michael Cole is the one who does the main commentary for two of Austin's biggest moments: this and the beer bath on the Corporation

Austin, like Piper and Hogan before him, refused to submit to Hollywood producers. And by "submit" I mean he wouldn't suck dick or get fucked in the ass to advance his film career. That's why all of their careers stalled and then were relegated to lesser productions for DTV or DTDVD releases. Look at Batista and Rocky today and tell me they didn't end up as some producer's cum rag.

I haven't. But I know how the system works. They put these guys through humiliation rituals, small ones at first and then work their way up. Acting feminine and wearing women's clothing is one such humiliation ritual. The idea is to slowly get them to undergo progressively more embarrassing humiliation rituals, with the implication that if they ever refuse, their steady ascent to Hollywood stardom will be cut off at the knees. The more humiliation rituals you agree to, the harder is becomes to say no to the next one, because then that would mean you did all the other shit for nothing. Eventually this escalates to homosexual acts with Hollywood producers. If they can get you to perform just one gay act, then they are likely to get you to take it up the ass eventually. It's one form of boiling the frog slowly -- the heat is increased so gradually that by the time it reaches a boil you're already comfortable in your life and you don't want to give it all up.

Surely no one over the age of 21 actually believes this? No one admits to watching this garbage and the fans look bored as fuck whenever the camera is on them. Why are you front row at a WWE show and not desperate to get your face on TV? I think we know why..
