I’m a bit mixed on this
For a long time I was against platform exclusivity and the retarded console wars and understood Kojima’s take that a game should be made available for every audiences
However as exclusive titles are basically non-existent now their absence can be felt in a way that “why did I waste money on this fucking console then?”
I think an exclusive title or one exclusive franchise should be kept as flavor (and not the dull shit like Last of Us or Horizon but the likes of Halo and Uncharted)

Exclusives are shit for the consumer, but sometimes exclusivity was the only reason a game got made. Without those deals in place, some beloved games would've never gotten the funding, or at least most of it, if Microsoft, SONY, Nintendo, or Sega or whoever had ponied up the money and written the deal. So it was still a net positive in some sense.
I think the only reason we're seeing this eroded is because none of these exclusive titles are worth a shit anymore. Just about every single PlayStation exclusive is "cinematic experience" adventure game, Uncharted-reskin wlop
