I'm probably one of the bigger Hendry marks on this board, but I really dunno. The guy has had two appearances on the main roster, and unless you plan on putting him in the mix immediately after and skipping NXT, it'd feel weird. Plus, there's actually a solid handful of guys you could give the rub to, and would probably benefit more than Joe.
Makes me think of when people say Jericho should've ended Goldberg's streak. Jericho never needed that. At his peak, you just give him a mic and he'd make something work. Joe is creative, affable, and gets the business. I think he'd have an easier time getting over than some of the other guys who are still entertaining to see, but also need to be booked more credibly.
