Basically instead of having a script for the 2 hour show he has his booking sorted by what the individual wrestlers are going to be doing for presumably months.
It’s why for a while AEW would advertise certain wrestlers would be on dynamite and only show up in backstage segments. Cause the lazier wrestlers like Page and Omega would look at their inverted booking and just be like “well how about after my match tonight we just film the rest of this backstage” and then they’d get to sit home for 2 months cause aew was only running like 4 PPVs.
It might also be way there is so many similarities in parallel storylines. Like Tony knew he wanted X to happen and forgot he wrote it into the bucks storyline and put it in Max Casters.
I haven’t watched in a long time. Maybe they’ve gotten better.
