It's not easy exactly being a saiyan, especially what is called a low-class child. You were just sent out to another strange world far from that you called home and had to deal with both weird water and some big monster that you just barely managed to beat. Even now you're still feeling a lot of hurt over most of your body. Especially your legs.
Ah yeah. Now. There's this tall but thin man with short but smooth flowing black hair that apparently took you into whatever this weird brown place inside is. Sitting on some kind of weird 4-legged thing that on second look actually looks like it was made for sitting? He's not gotten up yet but is looking right at you with a pointed finger and speaking in gibberish that you can't-

Just then in a moment you almost blinked past, a light comes from his finger and hits you! It's so sudden you couldn't immediately react as he again opens his mouth.
"Ah there. That translation spell should work, surprised it still had some use out here. But please settle down."

Welcome to Lowborn Saiyan Quest! You play Squasha, a lowclass Saiyan child sent out to do what they do best-prove your worth by conquering a planet or die trying.
You've been sent to the primitive world of Frutania, an verdant backwater that's just ripe for the picking. But seeing as there's apparently goo water here there might just be something weird with this world.

Multiple thoughts quickly race through your mind. At the least this guy wasn't immediately trying to attack you. So if you can understand him-why not try and question?
"Can I eat that?"
Maybe you should've started with something else first, but being so close to the fire and whatever's in that cut in half black sphere really keeps your stomach reminding yourself of what's most important. You're pointing to it still and looking up to the potentially dangerous stranger!
"The Chimera Stew will need some more time in the pot to boil. But once it's done I'll let you eat as much as you like."
Well that's settled! Your tails starts swinging back and forth almost like it's got a mind of it's own, but you don't quite feel happy. It's annoying to have to still wait while your stomach is still growling!
"Thank you! But where am I?"
"My home. Now come sit at the least. Your body still hasn't recovered much."
Hm...
>Do as he asks, your legs are still struggling to keep you up.
>Whine about the food wait first.
>Keep up your defenses until it is done!

Does this quest also have DQ's monsters? I know the average DB fan doesn't give a shit about DQ but it could be nice recruiting monsters. Also it would remove the load of designing every monster yourself.

Lets see. The guy isn't attacking you and really hasn't done anything sort of threatening outside of whatever that light was. He called it some set of words you didn't really know. That's about it.
So you drop most of the stance as you inch your way to another sitting place set up near where he is sitting, similarly with four legs on it. It's taller than you but it doesn't stop you from going ahead to climb on up. Even in your state-it's nothing compared to the first climb you did.
You look around a bit more from your vantage-you see an opening above where you woke up, shinning light-oooh. Maybe you could've climbed up there. Oh well here at least you'll be getting food. Wait you just remembered.
"Do you also have water?"
He looks back at you with the same sort of patient gaze without a smile. But blinks for once in a moment as he takes a second to respond.
"Only in the stew itself of course. Better to just boil and clean it in the same pot. Did your parents teach you about water safety?"

I think the DQM thing would probably work better as its own quest desu, no need to force it. But it you want to use it, you can make the monsters fight alongside her or maybe make them work as an army to take over the world.
You still can use the monsters as only enemies though.

You can't just say you don't know really. What even is that stuff? Teaching might talk about your dreams but saying that might be bad you feel. Lets see.
Hmmm. You could try saying it in a sorta true way? Like don't say some stuff and play a bit dumb!
"I don't know, don't remember anything about here or my past. Who are you?"
His eyes narrow immediately at what you just said. Round ones have turned almost into slits as he moves his head slightly up and down.
"Brawnin. What a shame that happened to you. Don't worry though, the stew is about ready now."
He gets up from his sitting place and goes over to another raised bit of brown stuff with two smaller brownish half-spheres on it, going then to where the 'pot' as he sorta called it.

No questions are being raised in your head right now so you decide to get on with some waiting. Even if you're stomachs growling like mad and you really want it now! Just try to be patient...you don't have the energy to really argue.
It's not too long before he's back with both uh. Little pots seems like a good name! Go with that, one set in front of you. It looks good with a bunch of what smells like meat and a few things that look like plants mixed in some water that's not the very blue stuff. Even if it's not quite the color you'd expect. Oh well! You go ahead to open your moth wide and try to bite-
"Don't do it like that! You'll burn yourself!"
He shouts out and pushes your head back! You've got half a mind to bite his fingers for that but it's hard to try and move it to do that. You squirm for a bit more as he points to some uh, weird black thing he put next to the little pot. It's some sort of thing with a handle that ends with a sort of very shallow round thing.
"Use the spoon please."

It's a little annoying but if the guy's being like this you guess you can go along. The little spoon thing does look like it can hold some of the stuff at least. So you go for a big strike first as you swoop it up, splashing the water in the little pot onto what you're now sure is wood. After a quick sniff you go to put it in your mouth.
Hm, feeling it around with your tongue it itself feels hard. Like you can't even bite the thing. As you try to fidget around the stuff in it seems to fall off though and right back into your tongue. And you feel your whole body imediately shift. What...is this stuff? You knew a bit about food from your dreams but this? This is great! Just the thing your stomach needs!
You waste no time in going back to shovel it all down as fast as you can. Slurp, slurp, chew. It's all gone in about a few seconds. And it's not enough.
You look back to Brawnin, his eyes wide as he stares with his mouth open and brown spoon still hanging inches away from the opening. Wow he must be slow. And with eager eyes you quickly say.
"More!"
.....
With one last spoonful you look on to an empty pot and tiny pot. He had to bring it all the way over to the wood thing to keep up with you. How nice! While it seems Brawnin has decided to put his face behind his hands for some reason.
"A week's worth...eaten in one meal."
>"More!"

"Thanks! I really needed that."
Brawnin's eyes would finally get out of his hands and spy your smile back at him. He takes a moment to look at it before his face straightens back up to his more common frown of you can't quite tell what he's thinking of. Except maybe a bit of seriousness.
"That is no problem. But, you will have to work off what you just ate somehow. Let's see."
He starts digging into his weird pants for something while a curious thought arises in your mind. With food sated your previous hunger for knowledge seems to have arisen again!

Well he hasn't let you down before. You eye the container and the opening made-it kinda looks like a weird squarish bottle so you go ahead and make for a good sip. It's going down fast as it hits your tongue in a way that feels kinda like when you were just in the pod. Only it's way different in a way you can't really describe other than having some kind of good feel to it. Gulp gulp, it's at least probably more water.
But then you feel it. Your body seems to lighten and grow more relaxed as pain goes away. Like a refreshing hit to yourself that pulsed through everything! Only a little bit seems to linger in your legs, but you can swing them around with no problem! Woah! You feel better than ever!
"Woah...what was that?!"
He seems to smirk as it's all been done.
"Healing Tonic. Very helpful, even if expensive. I had to make the long trek to Cavendash for that."
His face goes more serious though.
"I trust that will be enough for you to help out."

You watch as he started to move over to the odd rectangle of brown,
"A simple restocking. Since all my food for the week is gone, I at least will need to gather it all back."
"Oh! You mean I get to punch and kick a bea-"
"NO! You're a child! Far too young and certainly unaware of how to do even basic spells."
He shouts back with a glare right that moment. What the...doesn't he know kids like fighting and can really lay on the hurt?
"Then what am I supposed to do?"

You nod and jump back down from your sitting thing. No need to climb when this is way simpler. Your knees don't even need to bend from the impact, and you're off walking through the place! Past the opening you find some kind of room that's less furnished. More trophies hang on the walls, a weird cabinet with a few thin rectangles in it, and a place where Brawnin is already taking a few things. Like a long thin round v-shaped piece of wood that's got a string between both it's ends. You think that starts with a b, but no clue otherwise. And with getting something else that looks like metal-he's off and out! Through an opening to the outside you quickly follow though.

Fresh air hits you again. It looks to be the middle of the day here. Walking out you step on not grass but yet more wood. Downwards you see a patchwork little path made from finely cut bits of wood, leading deeper into...the rest of the woods?
It seems that this place isn't made in just a clearing. Instead you take a look to find that you're actually maybe even deeper inside of it. The trees grown almost like a big maze, though luckily you're still small enough to easily navigate it. Along with that man there-already set on a path out into what looks like a less dense part to it.

No time to waste. You quickly push yourself despite anything lingering on your legs. Nothing you really notice but you do note that somehow, your going faster than you think you've ever done before. Each step in the run greater than all the rushing you did with that large creature in the weird water. Though you're still struggling to keep a glimpse on him as he goes through the at first dense trees and bushes, having to try your best to avoid thumping through it all while his tall form seems to just move in a sort of eased rythm to the whole thing! It's not long at all though before you can start to follow closer along as the growth makes of a less dense part.
You eventually stop right where a bunch of big green tubes with leaves have curled around a big tree. Particularly in a big coiled up lump that Brawnin was standing next to as you arrived. But as you try to go closer he puts up an open palm-like he's ordering you to stop!
"Don't come any closer. Just sit back and observe for now."
"Huh? Aren't I going to help you or something?"
"Not yet. You'll need to at learn see first what you're supposed to do-and what to be wary of."
You tilt your head as he'd go up to reach for something in his pants. It's quickly revealed to be another grey thing but in a solid shape of a small stick instead.
"This here is a trap. More specifically, a Faevine. It's a way to gather food without me having to track and kill a beast myself."
"Eh? But that doesn't sound fun at all."
He gives you a short stare before moving back to look at this Faevine thing. Moving the stick up to near a part of it.
"Perhaps when you're just checking on it, but this is work and not fun. That comes after you earn your keep and food of course."
You guess. It takes a few moments for you to think as Brawnin swiftly jams in the stick in between the Faevine that makes it start wiggling and uncurling, opening to reveal something only barely bigger than you with a snout and green fur.
"I dunno. I think fighting them would be way funner-"
"No!"
He shouts back immediately! Already moving to stand right in front of you while your smile turns a bit more worried.
"You are far too young for that. I doubt you even have training spells, no less the knowledge needed for a hunt. To charge recklessly without power will just get you killed."
Your mind goes back to the beast you fought back there, how you barely were able to beat it without dying. It...feels like he's got a point but there's something in your head screaming against the idea!
"...for now, you should focus on traps. You've seen how an iron rod can make it release it's prey. But for your size I advise to not stand too close or-"

His eyes widen as soon you'd hear a large roar a few seconds after, in the direction of where he was standing right there.
"Damn! You, go back to my cabin and stay there. I'll continue with my lessons after I finish that thing off."
Without even a word he'd start running in that whole direction faster than you could even see! He was right there a second ago and now he's in the distant horizon!
What do you do?!
>Run after him!
>Stay put
>Go back to the Cabin and hide.
>Start wandering around the place.
