Its cold... Terrible, Terrible Cold. We crawl forward, feeling our way through. Eventually we feel something warm. We press ourselves against it, we dig ourselves into it, something within us compels us to spread, further throughout the warm sticky mass... It's not enough the mass is too large, we divide ourselves little fragments spreading throughout, separate but still connected...
Time passes, and something under us is beginning to wake. Our instincts rush to act. Act against the awakening thing. What do we do?
>Consume it
We cannot let it wake; it would be disastrous for us. We consume it, dig ourselves deeper, replacing, multiplying.
>Control it.
We allow it to awaken, we dig ourselves deep into it, puppet it, control it. It feels wrong... Unnatural for us.
We Feast upon the mass. devouring it in our mouthfuls. for a brief moment we hear... hear? hear? an unfamiliar sensation...? We hear a gasp, a whimper, a groan. The greater mass shifts, shifts, shifts.... It is no more.
A sudden influx of pain consumes us, the contents of the consumed mass begins to trickle in. the worm... Another word thing, what is this? Language? It hurts us we shy away from it. We direct our tentacles to connect to where most of the we consumed mass once was connected. Sensations flood us. There is a loud repeating noise next to our... sensation organ. We force the creature's eyes open. Pain and blinding light fills our new ocular vision.
More of this language entity plagues us. Room... We are in a Bed... Room. The walls a bare white. We look down, this is a female host? That noise, it blares in our ears... It hurts our ....head?

We are unused to this body. our limb smacks into the noise maker, sending it careening across the "room" the noise is dimmer now, giving us time to sift through what little "Language" we have. The "words" seem to evade us, hurting as much to recall as the noise maker once did. But through the mind fog one word seems to center itself in our mind "Mirror"
We force our shakey legs from the "Bed" and shuffle towards the "Bath" "Room", the floor feels cold upon our feet, but not like the cold we experienced once before, this being far more tolerable. as we shuffle into the "Bath" "Room" (After hitting ourselves upon the "Door" multiple items" We encounter another "Human" staring at us, with bagged eyes.
Our instincts kick into action, we move to strike the being only before more fragmented knowledge bubbles to the surface... "reflection" Host/Us/Body. We try to touch it's face only for our finger to be rejected by the smooth glossy surface of the "Mirror".
From what we can understand of this host's knowledge it appears our host is in the "Young Adult" or "Teenager" phase of life it is unclear to us. There is a large amount of dried "blood" dried upon the right side of our ear. This host appears to be wearing black "Underwear" and "Clothing" depicting a strange version of a pale "Human" male with "blood" upon its lips. There are 2 ovular masses protruding from our chest larger than one of our hand can wrap around..
There is more "Language" "English?" we hear, not from our mind. Our left sensory organ ear detects noise coming from outside the bathroom. A larger human woman, older, appears in our sight dressed in more "Formal" "Clothing". The human appears to be shouting loudly before she places her eyes upon us. In which her tone changes to a more stern version of its speech. We haven't turned to face her yet, we continue to stare into the "Mirror"

We turn our head to face the woman. We direct the vocal box to begin vibrating."ughhhhh, rla hgmm, enhh, Huh?". We manage to gurgle out, saliva flows out from our mouth dribbling onto the floor. The function of this organ is incredibly complex... The human woman stares at us, the strange white object she was holding drops onto the floor, staining it with brown fluid. The human's eyes appear to be locked upon our right sensory organ, the right ear. involuntarily we touch the dried blood, feeling it flake off onto our hand as we do.
The human woman immediately bursts in to a frenzy of speech. We do not understand a majority of the "Words" it says to us. We tilt our head and stare as the woman continues with it's speech. Out of all the words only a few seems to resonate with our mind, "Good God", "Bleeding", "What Happened", "Doctor", "Car", "Now", " Vanessa", "Staring!"
The Woman grabs onto our right arm and begins to attempt to drag us away.

My name... The host's name is Cheryl... or was that our younger sister? We cant tell, Cheryl or Vanessa. We feel ourselves being pulled into the car and our body being pressed into the seat as my mom, the human woman, the human woman begins to drive. We are... 18... 19? years of age, age being the human's metric for time, a previously unknown concept. We dig deeper into our consumed memories as our face begins to slide down the car's window, we cannot focus on our physical form and these new concepts at the same time...
I am... The Host is a high school student in the state of Vh... Vhuh.. Vurginya. I- WE. The host was a relatively unpopular student in this institution. I only had- The host only had 2 friends Rachel and Bill who were as similarly influential as the host. Despite her relatively attractive figure. We flutter our eyes a bit, This host has numerous scars upon her left wrist, and the human woman is ranting angrily loudly over the radio's noise.
The host are currently being transported to what is known by the humans as a "ER" medical facility. According to the human host's mother this is "The 5th time this month damn it girl! I don't get infinite days off!". Our attention is finally drawn back fully to the physical as we push ourselves up into the seat.

Our host was what the humans would consider "Shy" always sitting with a hunched back and more often than not mumbling. We relax our back muscles allowing our body to fall under a natural weight, and we attempt speech once again to comfort the mother human.
"M-M-Mom its f-fh-fhuh-fine..." speech still feels unnatural, slurred and slow but we continue growing more proficient by the second, "C-calm d-down it w-wuh-wuh was just... we p-popped a z-z-zit or something in our ear... mom... We don't need to go to the ER". We force the body to stare out the window, wiping most of the dry blood away, letting it fleck down into the cracks of the car seat. But still there remained a small trickle of blood coming out from our right ear.
Another mannerism to imitate, avoid direct eye contact...Though we couldn't see the human mother from memory experience it was likely that she was glaring at the back of our host's skull. It felt as though we were exposing our host, leaving it defenseless.
"You call that a ZIT!? Half of your face was covered in BLOOD! You slumped down like a corpse and drooled all over my window and then you have the GALL to say your fine!? I dont know what on earth happened in class this time for you to I DONT EVEN KNOW THIS TIME BUT... AUGH" The woman slams a fist into the steering wheel, briefly causing honk of the car to burn our punctured right ear. We split off another piece of ourselves to cover the hole, at once the pain disappears and the trickle of blood ceases.
"What am i supposed to tell your SISTER when I find you bleeding out on the ground next time HUH!? Tell me!"
"..." We do not know how to respond. We root around the host's memories for another mannerism to copy... Whenever the mother gets loud in the car we turn up the radio's volume. The radio is not on, however after a couple seconds of fiddling we press the button and turn the knot filling the air with the radio station's broadcast. The human mother gives us a scornful look in response.
We will be arriving at the host's usual ER soon. Less than 5 minutes. We realize that we suspect we are this will possibly expose us...

The human mother opens her mouth, ready to argue, no this ends now. something within us shifts, unseen we release a pheromone from our exposed pours and the open wound from our ear. The scent is nearly invisible to even our olfactory organs, but if a human were to smell it would be described as a "cinnamon".
The human mother's mouth opens, and closes, then opens once more. However, after a minute she huffs and begins to turn the steering wheel around. "You know I'm just worried for you...".
The rest of the car ride is spent in silence, with the endless urban sprawl passing the window. It almost feels half familiar to our mind. Hey I remember that little place. We walk into the house, thankfully the door remains unlocks that our host may enter, we feel the cool air and the tickling of the carpet upon our feet as we walk inside. After a brief second to dig through the host's memory we find our way to the host's room.
We do not have enough information at the moment, however displeasing the human mother would in all probably lead to a negative result. What exactly we intent to do is unclear, our instincts have nothing to say on this situation... except... Hunger... Hunger has been with us since the moment we gained awareness yet after we consumed our host it had sated us before. We can also feel this hunger in our host, but they are 2 separate types. The host's is a distant hunger, but ours feels primal, raw, predatory. We press down our urges, there is nothing we can do of it for now.
As we approach the door we notice, the beeping of the "Alarm clock" appears to have ceased. We recall it was still functional when we were dragged off. There is a familiar scent emitting from the room, not our host's scent no. We crack open the door and peer inside. God damn it she is in my ROOM AGAI- we clutch our head and back up into the hall.
Breath, expand the diaphragm, contract, expand, contract. The heart rate of the host slows. We push down the memory. and push the host's room door open. Inside we see a similarly aged human woman, blonde and long haired compared to our black short hair and wearing what appears to be a white shirt and a black skirt.
We can feel our mind gnaw at the sight of another human; salivation fills our mouth. The human is kneeling next to the alarm clock that we struck and is digging through some clothes piles, chuckling to herself, in- MY CLOSET! IF SHE READS MY DAMN DIARY I SWE-

Upon the bed there is a number of "Plushies" of various fictional characters our host has collected. we swiftly take one of them and hurl it at the intruder's head.
With a wump the little plushie bounces off the human's head, "OWWWW! HEY!". The woman turns with a strange expression on her face. We can only assume it resembles some form of... Embarrassment? Humorous? Annoyance?
Regardless of the human's expression she stands up after tossing some more of our host's clothing haphazardly into the various piles in the closet. "What was that for!?" the human crosses one of her arms in a mock huff... whilst the other arm goes to rub the back of her head.
We know this human. It is the host's sister.... The human sister, we still do not know it's name. However some presence behind our mind gives us speech that we can mimic. "What did We- I tell you about going through my stuff."
The sister human groans "Cmon... You make it so easy to go through, and besides you left your alarm clock on ... and also on the floor? What's with that!. Seriously! What is with you and getting up so early? Every day!" The human woman throws herself onto My- Our host's bed. "Also where were you, I spent like 10 minutes looking for you. and you weren't anywhere to be found."
"W-I was busy" Noncommittal statements, best not to give anything away too early to this human, we stand stock still and ridge before realizing our failure of mannerisms and begin to slouch.
"Busy?" The human has begun to hang herself off the bed upside down with her legs kicking in the air, "Oooh what were you doing this time, trying to sneak out of school again, going to meet that special friend of yours? Come on you gotta tell me about hi-"
We suddenly lose control, a small fragment within us reacts violently "HE ISN'T MY BOYFRIEND HES JU-" We wrestle control back from the fragment. The woman has stopped kicking her legs and has plastered an exaggerated frown upon it's face. "You so mean to me you know, your poor little sister! Well fine! But you still gotta drive me to school in a hour."
The human sticks her tongue out at us before leaving the host's room, closing the door behind us. We are alone, we take in our surroundings. The room was not as bare as we previously assisted. Formally unknown posters of "Anime" characters, "Chibi figures" and a large "desktop computer" fill the space. Notably there appears to be a "Gaming Setup" connected to the "Computer". Overall the host's room is rather cluttered beyond the decorative objects and string lights hanging across the room.
>>6239865we drop our facial facades and mannerisms and go to redress ourselves for this "Class" "School"... The body appears average for a human female, however our host's previous memories have let it to believe that it was too large despite the lack of large fat deposits. Unusual. However besides the scars on our arms and a small tattoo upon the left arm. It appears to be that of a "Video Game" as for which we cannot tell.
We dress ourselves in the typical outfit of this host, nearly all of the clothing this host possess is in the dark colors. Good for nighttime stalking if that is required. We dress the host in a black skirt and thigh highs, we consider the choker. It seems inadvisable to limit the breathing of this host, however it almost never went without it. Thus if we are required to blend it we must wear it. Much to our confusion when the choker did not restrict our airway.
Finally we wore the plain black tennis shoes that were placed besides the door. However before we are able to exit there appears to be a note on the white board nailed next to the door. We quickly scan the notes plastered on, the hand writing is messy however after a couple of minutes we are able to assest this is how this host keeps track of the tasks it is required to do. Notably there is a note that appears to have been written yesterday. it reads "Bill, 4:00PM, the Mall, The Snatcher". We are unable to find any futher notes of interest.

Further more it really doesn't help that we do not know exactly what car "keys" look like. However, after a solid 30 minutes we were able to find the car's keys. Despite us having the host practically rip the entire room apart twice over the jingling was finally heard in whilst we ripped the bed's sheets from the ground for the 2nd time. Wrapped within the covers we find the cool metal and plastic object.
During this (Near) mindless activity we actively preformed introspection within our host. Our inner appendages within the brain's cavity did not have eyes, however we slowly tested our little sub minds neuron by neuron until we found a unusual activity. One of our sub minds where the former "Prefrontal Cortex" used to reside appears to not be responding to most of our mental commands. we try to tap into it's mind, however it rejects us. We persist, putting the little fragment under as much will as we can bare. We gain a tiny glimpse into the murkier internals of this sub mind. It appears cloudy and confused. Its neural activity is not consistent with ou-. "Ough... my head...."

Bill , said i'd meet him, he's gotta know... I take my reminder from the wall shoving the note into it's school bag. Mom wont mind... Vanessa can walk. to class... Shes a... tough girl... "My headdddd-"
-r neural activity... We stand at the door our hand clutching our head. What was that... The sub mind has retracted within a dead angle of our cranial mass. Something will need to be done later. But for now the Human Sister is knocking at the host's door. "CMON! HURRY UP!"
"Coming..." We reply dully, opening the door and leading the Sister creature to our host's car. The controls are unfamiliar to us, however after a couple of seconds we are able to recall the host's memory of driving and the route to this hosts school. The sister creature attempts to badger our host, however we are too focused on ensuring the car doesn't crash to notice what the human is saying to us. Eventually the sister gives up in a huff and begins tapping at a strange glowing plastic object.
>>6240304We stop the car infront of the institution, barely avoiding colliding with another parked car. "Cheyrl... What is with you today? Seriously are you good?". Cheryl, the name resonates within our mind. Yes. we are Cheryl, a name, us, we, body, host, mind, Cheyrl. every muscle within our body has finally feels relaxed, removed from the rigidity that it once held, and for some reason we cannot explain the host's face begins to... smile? Why? What purpose do we have to smile, it expends vital calories from our host and provides no benefit.
We cannot remove small smile from our face, the words begin to come more naturally to us "I'm good, seriously. I'll... see you after class." ...the sister stares at us for a brief moment before stepping out of the car, "Not so fast... You know the rules"
"What?"
"Last one to class is a rotten egg, DUM DUM" Without warning our sister bolts from the car, not before running straight into another human and awkwardly having to pick up her purse from where she fell before running into the crowd again.
We grab our own pack. it is partially unzipped is full of binders, books, and many of the post it notes similar to the ones taped to the wall sticking out from a black binder, we take it out and flick through it. We catch a glimpse of some of the notes "I know its one of them, but which one!?", "Tomas - No his behavior hasn't changed, Ralyn - She's been avoiding me recently, well... more than usual, her!?, Jamas - Behavior unchanged, Eva - Used to be talkative, gone quiet, god am i seriously going to start fucking stalking people..."
The list and notes go on some of the pages there are crude scribbles, incomprehensible to us most appear humanoid, but some with red scribbles over them. We close the binder and flick through some of the other notebooks. Equally unintelligable writing, some of the "Calculus" variety. We quickly close that one with the rest being similarly uninteresting to us.
Eventually we begin walking through the walls, attempting and failing to avoid the crowds of humans around us. thankfully this host has a particular olfactory smell that appears to repeal most people from our path. We are able to reach our "Class" where one of the adult humans allows us in. The class at large doesn't take any notice of our host as we command it to sit at one of the tables...

I love bandwagoning because I'm not creative enough
We disregard the notes and simply focus on maintaining our safety during the say, preforming as little action as we can. Humans pass by us, we command Cheryl to walk along with them. The humans sit down, we sit down too. A few humans get angry at us for "Taking their seat" however we simply move until the humans stop grumbling at us.
...What do we want? What is our purpose. We do not even know what we are. We know we are a "Cheryl", the Cheryl that last occupied this body before us wanted something. but what is it that we want? We scribble gibberish on each page the human "teachers" give us. not paying attention, not attempting to solve them right or wrong. Occasionally our consciousness bubbles to the surface when we see Cheryl's sister who waves at us before being swept along the human tide.
We are Cheryl, but what does Cheryl want? What do we want? Our instincts are quiet... except for the hunger. The hunger that we have always felt. We attempt to sate this hunger with the food the school cafeteria provides and the body's hunger subsides, but ours does not. Hunger. Hunger. Hunger, and the furtive sub mind still probing in our mind, twitching a finger, rising to the surface to speak to a passing classmate human in strange confusing ways, with confusing words, with no success as the other human simply ignores the passing comments, or only stares at her body before being repelled by the sub mind's words.
The time slides closer and closer to the end of the school day, and we walk through the final hall towards the last of Cheryl's classes when we feel IT. Immediately we are forced to a halt. IT is staring at is. IT knows what we are. IT is here, somewhere, amongst these humans.
We are compelled to fight and to flee, but fight what?, flee where? Time slows for us as the human wave passes us as if we were a stone in river. Our heightened senses notice 4 possible figures approaching us.
One is Cheryl's sister, waving and speaking. We ignore her. The other 3. Which one is IT...

(16/20) Successes
IT has rushed forward revealing itself from the crowd, IT's hand has transmogrified into a blade of flesh and bone already. The crowd stands stock still for the infinite few seconds that passes, we do not. We rush forward grabbing Cheryl's sister's hand, increasing our host's heart rate to a dangerous level and straining the host's leg muscles to a tearing point we bolt out of there. The Sister creature is screaming, a submind within us is screaming.
We have to get to the car, from pure instinct we know that IT has the advantage, it is faster than us, stronger than us, we must be smarter than IT. We open the emergency door, sounding the fire alarm, but not before toppling as much furniture Infront of it as we could. Just as IT reaches us we slam the door behind us and begin running to the car.
Behind us something wet sounding impacts the door and is currently bashing and slicing its way through. The Host's human sister is babbling to us as we reach for the car's key only to discover that our right hand has already been severed and is currently profusely bleeding. At this rate we will lose consciousness in a minute or less. We fish the keys out of our right pocket with our left hand and shove them into the sister creature's hand
"Drive". The sister human babbles for a second "Oh my god- I Wha- Was- I-I- Cant D-". We do not bother to mimic our host's normal reactions, we scream at the human "DRIVE DAMN IT DRIVE!". The door holding IT back has finally collapsed, but our car was faster. We are rushed from the scene, the human sister driving at nearly the maximum milage this car can handle without crashing, and then a little over.
After a minute we cannot maintain our consciousness in it's current state. Our mind behinds to seep into the darkness. small fragments of our being split off, rushing down the blood stream. We know that we do not have enough mass to regrow our lost limb at the moment. However we are able to stop the bleeding, but with the blood lost we are forced into this dormant state.
It is a infinite abyss we float in, Cold... that terrible, terrible cold... Eternities pass and we watch them in our infinite blackness. But with strange eons even death may die, and soon our eyes are forced open again. It is dark, and humid, and moist, there is a deep throbbing pain in our limbless right arm and our head pulsates painfully. Uncomfortably a Warm mass lays onto of us. It's eyes are stained with dark bags and black tear lines across it's face. it has completely trapped us in it's embrace, it appears to be sleeping, we can feel the slow rhythm of it's heart from our chest.
>>6241418We force our host's head up, to glance our the car window. we appear to be in some sort of forest, the moon's light shines down from above, and the car is cold, cold and dead.

>Exit the car, find something to eat. 4/5 votes
We carefully wriggle ourselves out from the grip of the sister human. and manage to carefully step out of the car without making a noise. We stare at our wounded arm. the hand stump has already begun to scab over, however it will be completely useless until we manage to find enough biomass to regenerate it. And the Hunger, we stare back at the human in the car... it would be so easy... A small piece of our sub mind rebels against the very thought, and our host's body begins to stumble into the forests.
The human food that we feasted upon before... it didn't sate us before. However, that substance was "Processed" Perhaps a being of sufficient freshness. We flail through the woods, failing to catch a frog, we walk further into the night. "What... am I?" We wrench our head back to find the source of the voice, nothing, again "What did you do... do to me?" The voice was not physical, it speaks foreign to our mind, the Cheryl sub mind. The voice appears lucid, intelligent, weak, like a whisper.
We begin to wander back to the road, everything we've attempted to catch is either too fast, too small, or hidden to our senses. "That was Eve... she was one of them... wasn't she..?". Whilst walking along the road we discover a fresh piece of roadkill... a rabbit who strayed too far onto the asphalt, still twitching. We pull it from the road onto the side and pick at it's organs. The Cheryl sub mind recoils in mental gagging, the host's body retches but the taste... fresh blood... we gorge ourselves on the tiny body, soaking blood into our socks and twisting the blood into our mouth. But the best part of corpse was it's brain. It fills us with near orgasmic pleasure, the memories of the rabbit fill our minds, from it's conception to the moment the semi had clipped its tiny body and obliterated it. had it not been for our majority human memories perhaps we would have tried to start hopping.
"Good god.... EUGH! Thats... Thats what it did to Eve!? Fuuuck....". The pleasure quickly dissipates, leaving the Hunger remaining... the meal was insubstantial, nothing like when we consumed our host... We slip our bloodied socks back on and lick the remaining blood from our hands like an animal before we begin to walk back to human sister's car. "...Talk to me... Say something you monster... Damn it don't leave me alone..."

"You are never alone, we are one now. Atleast until you are unable to keep us safe from IT." We speak with the most natural mental voice we cannot, however due to our enmeshment with our host we cannot help but repeat it's own voice back at it.
The submind replies after a couple of seconds. "IT? you mean that fucking monster that ate Eve? The one who ate my own god damn friend Infront of me and no one believed me. That IT!? And now you've turned me into one of them?"
We continue down the asphalt staring at our mangled wrist, we try to work what limited biomass we have into something more passible. we remove the flesh finger in return for a flat stump rather than a scarred wreck of a stub. It will have to do for now until we gather further knowledge on our host's physiology. The submind continues to speak "Well you've already ruined my damn life.... now what!?" The submind begins to grow furious, a change of topic is necessitated lest it attempts to wrestle control of the body back from the greater whole. "The sister creature, she is in hysterics, her actions can lead us to be hunted further by IT. Help us calm her."
"..." The submind does not speak, we probe it. Unusual, it appears to already begun to regress back into a dormant state. Very well, we will have to speak to the sister creature alone. Finally after roughly a mile of walking down the road we arrive back at the car. the keys are still in the ignition and the headlights are still on. We reach inside the door and shale the sister human awake. The human stirs, wiping tears from it's eyes before it notices us. Before we are able to emit any sound the human clutches us and begins it babbling again. We stand perfectly still, besides a few... "Pats" upon the human's back.
The sister human eventually manages to blubber something comprehensible out of it's mouth beyond, Thinking that our host was going to die, that she was going to die, that she didn't know what to do after our host passed out from blood lost. "Y-you arm... H-how did it heal so f-fast.". We have alrighty thought of this question. "I-I gained s-some... Superpower... I dont know! It just healed okay!?" the human creature gives us a strange look through it's blubbering, however with a liberal dose of our phermones it seems to accept the impossible on hope, delirium, or some other delusion.
We eventually manage to tear ourselves away from the human's grip. "W-we need to get out of here, I think IT might be still c-coming after us. Where are we?" the sister human sniffs after whiping her nose onto her arm. "I-I dont know I just.. Fuck I just drove until.." We notice, the car's gas tank is completely empty. "A-a-and m-my phone died so i couldn't... couldn't call an ambulance. Im sorry, im sorry im sorrr-eh-eh-ehee"
>>6241772No good. We wont be able to get near any food without mode of transportation. At this hour of night anyone could potentially find us on the side of the road, and who knows what will happen. We noticed that every 5 minutes or so a car passes by on the road. it appears the sister creature accidentally drove off the side of the road leading to no one finding us and with the human's ""Phone"" being dead it could not get us to an ambulance. We were fortunate, very fortunate indeed.

It takes hours, we stand by the roadside attempting to console our sister human. It is alot of meaningless words, however ultimately she eventually calms down from her hysterics. She hands us our... hand. It appears she managed to grab it before our get away in our host's car. We take it gratefully, however the sister human begins to make demands of us to "Go to a hospital!. ... I dont care what mom says... My god how far did I drive.... fuuuuck... I'd have you carry me back to civilization like any good older sister should, but since you lost your hand to that... THING, I guess ill just... go to sleep, fuck i dont know... Just wake me up if you can stop a car..."
Eventually even the sister human cannot justify her staying up and she slowly slithers into our host's car and closed her eyes. Good... We take a bite our our severed hand... tastes... good. We have enough sense now to not devour our own appendage Infront of the road, even if it is a backwater barely traveled road. We peel the skin from the bone, pulling apart each tendon, learning the mechanics of the hand. This is not like how we devoured the rabbit, our instincts forbad us from that reckless hunger. No, this was a slow dissection, piece, by piece. By the end of the feeding we eventually understood the entire function of the hand. and with our original biomass we were able to regrow the thing in it's entirety. This knowledge lets us understand most of the other joints in our body, they are made of the same parts. However the organs... will require similar study. As such we should avoid losing our vital organs such as our heart, lungs, or what we have replaced the brain for. We are still not entirely sure what we did to the brain organ of our host, however it is for the best that we avoid damaging what is there at all costs...
Eventually however after several hours have passed and the sky began to turn a pale blue, even through the cloud and tree tops, a Semi came bumbling down the road. We eventually got the driver's attention. Older male, balding, graying beard, baseball cap and a stained shirt. He seemed friendly to our host, we noticed that he did look us up and down several times before shaking his head. He invited us inside and asked us of our destination... We did not know... We stall, we go to gather our sister creature from her resting place in our car. She did not wake until a liberal application of slapping to her forehead, upon which we almost received one of our own, it taking immense willpower for our instincts to not hit back. The sister human went to talk to the trucker, speaking loudly of our "Lost hand" until she gained a good look at our nominally intact hand. she stood and gawked. for a time.
>>6242911"Y-your hand... what? How did?" Cheryl's human tried to speak. We simply ushed her into the vehicle, she spent an hour staring at our hand after giving the confused truck driver instructions to not go to the hospital, speechless. "Cheryl... you are acting way too fucking calm for this... What is going on. Don't lie to me and say you have Superpowers, tell me, what is happening.

>Gaslight Her (35/20)
It is blindingly obvious, even to us that we will be unable convince the sister creature that we simply "Grew back our hand". We require another solution. We direct our body's energy towards maximizing the production of our pheromones under the host's sweat glands. The effort is monumental, however as the flood of social toxins fill the cabin the sister human begins to slow her incessant demands. The sister creature's eyes slowly begin to dilate "-Why- aren't you tell... Uh... d-dont just... hold on... Uh..." the driver seems to not notice us in the back, and seems relatively unaffected with their AC unit blowing on full and the window open. Or simply the driver human doesn't notice the pheromones over the stink of the cabin. regardless of the driver, the sister human has begun to giggle to herself, slurring her words and staring far beyond us. We know what has occurred. chemically induced altered state through prolonged exposure to our toxins rendering the conscious mind of the human in a suggestable state. or as the humans would call it "Hypnotism", regardless of the human language's ever frustrating semantics we open our host's lips to deliver a new reality, in hushed whispering tones. We delve through our host's memories of any possible combination of lies that will seem convincing to this sister human. Eventually we settle on a false reality that the school was attacked by a active shooter, the sister human and the host barely escaped by fleeing the area, however out of panic the sister human ran out of gas on the side of the road, and we were required to hitchhike to return.
>Pheromone Overdrive. Hunger Increased to Gnawing
Satisfied with our lies we cease the overdrive of our Pheromones and resume normal production, the exertion leaves us exhausted. After a few minutes the sister human appears to stir back into some form of consciousness. It seems content with the current situation has begun going into a extensive and repetitive account of the entire "Shooting" ordeal. We are unsure if it simply wishes to speak of it on it's own, or the sister human's mind attempting to convince itself of the implanted truth we have put into it's head. regardless we oblige the human sister by giving simple grunts of agreements, or nods, which it seems to accept for the most part.

>>6252230We are unsure of the name. The host's city in which the sun has finally begun to rise. We pass through numerous neighborhoods and boroughs which we observe the milling about of the humans through the streets. The hairs on our host's skin rise, we know this place. These street signs, these buildings, yes our host knows this place, we know this place. This is the school district where IT was. The driver passes it in but a few minutes, however we are able to see something unusual. The school building the host attends appears to be completely quarantined off. No that is not the correct word, a closer human equivalent would be 'Barricaded' by a number of black vans and armored vehicles. Most unusual however is the massive gaping hole in the center of the building's front. The sister human has attempted to clamber over us multiple times to see. "My god... what.... Did they have a bomb or something!?" The sister human adds unhelpfully, however the possibly of a bomb's detonation could be likely with the damage. Unfortunately we are unable to get a good look inside before the driver turns onto the final road leading to the host's house.
"This your stop?" The driver turns over from the front, bringing the massive semi to a hissing stop next to the neighborhood block's entrance. Before we are able to speak the human creature that has been babbling at us ceases for once. "Uhhhhhhhhh Yup this is the place. Man I have no idea how to thank you... I mean I just, we just-" The driver interrupts the sister human "Easy Easy! Its fine, but if i were you little lady, you need to get your parents to call for a tow truck or something, you guys were pretty far out there..."
"Yeah... yeah..." The sister human sighs, turning towards us "I uh... well its your car so, I dunno how to do all that car... insurance... do hiky. Man she is going to be PISSED." We both step out of the truck, allowing it to speed away before we both enter the host's house.
We are immediately met by the hysterical mother human of the host, who similarly to the host's sister appears to be babbling at us. Apparently after the "Shooting" the news released a warning of a active bomb threat, which killed a numerous amount of students and staff. During the babbling of the mother creature whilst our lungs were being compressed to nearly unbearable leaves by the 'Hug' the human mother was forcing us to suffer there was apparently 2 visitors who arrived at the house in suits, informing her of our demise not but an hour of ago.

Also glad to have you back QM
>ask her to clarify details under the guise of finding out if our friends died. Such as did the agents say that only we died or our sister and I died. Ask about what they said to do afterwards. Tell her the story of crashing the car
We eventually escape the crushing 'Hug', The host's mother's speech is vague and ambigous. What does she mean 'Our demise'. Does this human refer to our Host Cheryl? the human Sister Creature? Our friends. We require clarification.
We stare, attempting to mimic what the Cheryl human would have said, their tone. A hint of exhaustion here, a bit of fear. "W-what do you mean... O-our demise? Who were they? D-did they say anything else...?"
The human mother is sniffling, however she responds to us regardless of her obstructed nasal organs "T-they said that both of you. Oh my god im so glad your okay..." she goes to crush the human sister's chest cavity, suprisingly the human sister is much more willing to have it's organs damaged than us. "The men said they were from the ATF I... I think, they really didn't say much... they said your bodies was caught up in that that bomb or gas line or... I dont know..."
The human woman wipes her nose and eyes, before releasing the sister creature before straighten her back, taking a few deep breaths she appears to calm. "What happened with you, I hate to ask but.. You took so long to come home I thought..." We force our host to groan, before preforming a minor gesture towards the sister human. "We barely got out before all the... shooting took place I-" We didn't drive, how to we reconcile the fact that the sister creature drove the car, we have no obvious injuries any more, this will provoke suspicion if not handled car-
"I grabbed the keys when she dropped them on the floor, We uh, I didn't know what to do so I just... Drove the car, Hehe" The sister human rubs the back of her neck. "Her car is uh, somewhere in the woods down 95, I think. We uh, hitchhiked back. But its all good!" she seems to wave her hands around, as if trying to convince herself rather than the human mother. "We got out fine! We got a trucker to drive us back home."
There is a silence in the air for a notable few minutes, we simply observe, before the human mother seems to lose her calm somber attitude and ignites into a rant, as if the entire "shooting" ordeal had been forgotten. We do not know how to respond, and before we are able to the human mother seems to stride off, pacing back and forth about finances, towing costs, what on earth was she thinking, and a tirade of other things we do not have the attention or knowledge to notice.
>>6252466The sister human gazes towards our direction, as if mentally willing us to do something about the human mother, though this human seems to lack any solid telepathic ability, and knowledge to do anything about the mother creature. We follow our instincts retreating away into the host's room. The host's human habits seem to compel us to 'Charge' the host's 'Phone' for whatever reason we cannot fathom. upon the lit glassy surface there message that automatically appears in bold letters as soon as the 'Phone' is sufficiently charged, warning of the 'Bomb Threat' in the school area, and to avoid it the area at all costs. From our limited memory this 'Bomb Threat' Appeared to be issued, 1 hour after IT assaulted us.
Idly we command the host to flick through the 'Phone', evidently this object was important to the Host's daily activity as the reflexes to operate this machine appear to have been inherited to us, as though we moving the host's legs to preform walking, or manipulating the fingers of the host to grab an object. We don't even realize this until we have already searched through the entirety of the phone. The phone is filled with images of the same plushies that surround us, except in 2d form, the first thing we were drawn to was the host's contacts, we tap the button leading us to the list.
The host appears to not have many friends beyond the ones we knew of earlier, with it's 'Call' list being rather barren beyond the sister human marked as "Brat", mother human listed as "Mom", "Bill (Delete me)", "Rachel", and one only listed as "Friend". We move out of the contacts list, into the photos. We scroll through albums, most of the pictures are again, the 'anime' characters the host appears to have loved, 'Memes' which appeared to be the host's primary method of communication, Nude photos of the host, and various other media which we have seen. However as we scroll down we see a folder with no images appearing inside marked as "Dont Open", we ignore the host's warnings, within another folder "Really, Really Really Do not Open", we proceed "Please, Stop looking at Him", "It doesn't change what happened", "..." "54123413454", "423141", "Bill". We stop at the last folder, this one containing images within. They are minimized within the folder's icon, however we can already see a large amount of the color dark crimson marring the thumbnails in a dark area. We command our host to press the final folder, however our fingers resist the command. Again we try, The host seems to refuse...

It takes considerable effort to force through the mental barrior that the host has placed around it's mind, however our will is much stronger than whatever simulacrum of the Cheryl human remains within us. We force the finger down, and with a tap the images are revealed to our sensory organs.
Photos of dark corridors fill the screen, within them a single human, male, brown haired, wearing some kind of red and black flannel jacket is seen along with a hand on the very edge of the photo. The subject of the photo appears to be a abandoned store front, long falling apart from urban decay, the walls are littered with graffito. We slide of finger, the next photo shows more of the same, except the male figure has in their possession a 'Spraycan', which it uses to mark the walls, the still image radiates a smile even through the digital screen, our heart is pumping abnormally. We shift our organs and neurons to slow the heart, next photo. 2 humans, the host and the human figure smiling, close up. The host has stuck out her tongue and the human male has wrapped his arm around the host, I still feel his grip upon my shoulder...
That cold grip, it never left me, never, never, nev-
the next is not a photo, rather a 'Video' as the humans call it. There is no sound when we press the 'Play' button. Until we discover a pair of headphones buried within a pile of clothes which has begun to blare incessantly to our enhanced hearing. We dig the headphones out from the pile and start the video again. Contained within, panting, gasping, the camera shaking heavily. A loud screaming echos throughout, off the walls, through the ruined and broken tiles. For a brief moment the camera flicks back behind the recorder, IT follows, cast in shadow. IT's claws marred in blood, a face warped by a sadistic smile barely visible, pixelated and grainy from the dark. for only a moment is IT visible, until the camera screams back forward, out of the mall, into the empty parking lot, far into the night. Behind, the figure stands still, glaring at the recording device from the parking lot, then it is gone.
We recognize IT's face, Eve, a former classmate, we delve into the Host's memory only to find... Nothing. Nothing but a hole in the host's memory. We dig further, interrogating the hole, attempting to find any connection to IT's face and this 'Eve' figure. Nothing. There is only 2 more photos remaining in the folder.
>>6252541The first the human male's back towards the camera, shining a phone light over his head, inside the darkness of the building, the faintest silhouette is seen with in the dark, claws barely visible amongst the static. the next is simply a photo of the ground, stained in blood.
Before we are able to interrogate more of the phone device there is a knock upon the door... No, not our host's bedroom door. The front door of the house. There it is again, 3 solid knocks clearly audible through the silence, as though someone was slamming their fists against the door.
>Go to the front door, Do we great the outsider, or simply observe their features.>Open a Window, Flee, escape, get out, this is no place for us. Perhaps we can take a few items before the Mother, Sister, or Outsider notice us.>Something Else, Write in>Current Status:Host Consumed - No Effect

>>6252543>Go to the front door, Do we great the outsider, or simply observe their features.Grab the car keys, observe their features, and be prepared to run further into the house, jump out the window, and get in the car and drive away. It's clearly more experienced than us, so it may sense us through the door and is definitely more physically capable.
>>6252555There is also the possibility it is those federal agents, in which case it would be best to shut off pheromone production immediately(in case it can be detected), inform the Mother of the visitors and return to the host's room as to minimize the chance of encountering them.
>>6252557+1 Good idea, just don't tell mom about the knocks, let her get it on her own, also put on headphones to pretend like we didn't hear it.
>>6252555The car keys? sure we have them on our body, however the host's car is miles upon miles away in a ditch, beyond unlocking or locking the door they will not be of much use
>>6252604Well, fuck. Does the Mother creature have a car? If not, then in the case that IT is at the door we have to just hope it can't sense us through the door and run like hell if it does.
>>6252569This is a good addition, I support this.
>>6252543>>Go to the front door, Do we great the outsider, or simply observe their features.
>>6252543>Go to the front door, Do we great the outsider, or simply observe their features.only observe them
>>6252555I thought you were planning on using the keys as a weapon. Anon, we literally just got our car fucked up.
>>6252626I forgot and thought it was the Sister's car. But that is a good point, especially considering that the hunger has increased by a level and that IT might show up again. A firearm probably isn't best for hunting, given that finding a silencer is unlikely, so we'd probably be best using a knife for that. Not an immediate concern, but we should carry one whenever possible after the visitor situation is resolved.
>>6252616The human mother does have a car, however we possess no easy way of obtaining it's key
>Put on Headphones, Obtain a Weapon, Cease Pheromone Production, and Observe the OutsiderThis could be dangerous, Our host is ill prepared for any kind of counter, and if this host's media knowledge and the mother creature is to be trusted, there is a high likely hood that our host is being hunted by the 'Government', not to mention Eve. The knocking grows louder, more demanding, a harsh rattling against the door. Perhaps if we act ignorant the outsider will not suspect us. However since we are currently unable to produce weapons of living tissue, inanimate will have to suffice. There is a pocket knife located upon the host's dresser. Plain and unremarkable beyond the inscription of the Host's Name upon it's wooden exterior. We slip the knife into the host's skirt pocket and fit the headphones tight around the auditorial sensory organs.
It feels wrong to willingly dampen our senses, however we suppress the instinct and move to peer beyond the corner of the main hall. Outside we can see a blurry figure through the frosted glass. It is hard to tell their exact features however we are barely able to identify the markings of a... 'Police Officer'... no not just one 2 perhaps? maybe 3, It is hard to tell. If the 'officers' are holding anything it is nearly unidentifiable to us. However, our observation is not one sided. As soon as we enter the sightline of the door the knocking gets louder, through the muffled door we faintly hear throughout headphones a demand.
"Police! Open up!" The officer knocks a little harder 2 in rapid succession "Hey! Buddy! Mind opening the door? We need to talk" the knocking continues. We back away tearing our eyes from the door screen. moving away we attempt to locate the mother and the sister humans... Not in the living room, we assume they cannot hear the knocking themselves, or if they have they haven't gotten up to respond to it yet, good we have time. we quickly duck out of the main hall and speed walk back to the hosts room, shutting the door quickly. Thankfully this kind of behavior was usual for our host if questioned. Regardless we move to prepare ourselves for the worst. We hear the mother human moving to address the 'Officers' at the door, we quickly most move through our options.
>>6252650>Choose>Escape out the WindowThere is a small possibility that we will be able to evade these 'Officers' on foot. However, this host, especially of this fitness, is unlikely to escape without our modification. if we focus our attention on enhancing our biology, however we know this will be costly towards the host and us.
>(1d10, 0/20)>Hide in Our RoomThis room is small, however if it is necessary we can hide utilizing some desperate measures. We discovered different types of animals in the host's memory when we were looking for animal food in the forest. One of which's biology caught our attention was a reptile called a 'Chameleon'. We are unfamiliar with the creature's biology, however we may attempt to replicate it's function if we focus hard enough.
>(1d10, 0/20)>Fight? We saw Eve had Morphed their arm into a bone like weapon. If we were desperate perhaps we could figure out how to do the same, we have the knife however we would be better equipped with a weapon we designed first hand...

Act calm... We sit at the hosts desk... What does this host normally do... The computer, object, device... We have only the vaguest idea on how this thing functions beyond the similarity to the hosts 'Phone'. We stare blankly at the keyboard, we press a few of the buttons however the device remains dead. The knocking grows louder, beyond the door we hear the sound of foot steps in the hallway.
We dive into our memories, jumbled as usual. We sort through the memories, searching for something for to preoccupy the body, to seem less suspicious. We run through memory after memory. Its too much too much all at once, a wave crashing upon our mind, it hurts even attempting to process an entire lifetime's worth of memories. With each memory we search the knowledge slips beyond us into fog.
Impossible, in this state, with this little time, we cannot do it. The sound of the door opening and the chatter between the human mother and the officers has begun, we don't have time to... An idea strikes us. We do cannot process this information, not this fast, however the host's memory exists within us... The submind. We find it huddled deep into our subconscious and tear it from it's rest, it struggles. We resist the submind's influence over our body as our mental probes stab into the submind, like water from a tube we fill it, puppet it and relinquish partial control over the body. We feel our consciousness flow from the body, reduced to nothing but a shared perception of the host's senses... The host's body has collapsed onto the keyboard, the body begins to twitch, twitch...
I snap awake. "Ough... what the fuck..." I blink slowly everything feels... strange, ignoring the fact that I appear to have drooled over my entire desk. I shake my head, rubbing my face with a numb hand... Im... back? I grip my face, feeling down the rest of my body. I cant help it, I begin chuckling... my god, I'm back! I begin to rise, I have to go tell- SIT. My knees buckle, falling back into my chair. No... It can wait? It cant wait!? Why, why am I... Yeah... okay, yes it can wait... I don't need to tell her yet. It would only freak her out... okay. The door to my room opens, my hand automatically snaps to the keyboard pressing the alt-tab keys, I sheepishly remove my hands from the keyboard, its off, idiot.
My mom peers into the room "Sweety, could you come out for a moment, the officers need to talk to you." She appears exhausted, fuck, cops... they probably have come to see if, if I saw that thing fuuuuck. No good, we twitch a mental tendril, severing that memory from it's mind
...
...
...
What was I? Oh right... Cops. I stand sighing heavily as I did so. "Coming..."
>>6257047I step outside, there the officers stand outside the door, they seem to perk up as soon as they see me... Odd, I mean I know I survived a shooting but... Why do they want to talk to me? What am I supposed to know I didn't even see the damn- The male office clears his throat "Hello Miss, I assume you are Cheryl? Would you mind if we talked for a bit?" The officer leans onto the porch wall, he isn't looking at me instead he is scratching something on a clipboard. "Y-yeah... W-what did you need from me?"
Something isn't right... We can SENSE it. We force the host's eyes up from looking at the floor, into the window of the officer's black van, no markings. Inside the tinted windows we can see just barely only because of our enhanced senses, SOMETHING looking back at us. Human female, it is wearing some sort of 'prison' uniform, more notably a collar around it's neck. Eve

We force the Cheryl Simulacrum to forget the woman in the car, focus on the officer
I nervously tap my fingers together, god why me... If I told him he'd think I was insane... The officer finally has looked up from the clipboard he was intently scrawling something on, "Miss we have some questions for you, if you wouldn't mind"
"N-no I am sure you have something- I uh, yeah, questions." I scratched the back of my head, the officer didn't even seem to register my fumble simply moving down his list. "Where were you, did you see the shooter, did you see any others..." The questions all seemed to blend together, I couldn't help it, there was a fucking... THING in my brain- Hmm, that memory will not serve our host, another swipe, another memory cosigned to oblivion.
...
...
"Miss, are you well" The officer ceases the questions for a moment as I stumble from disorientation... "Y-yes I am f-fine... uh, fine as I can be.. ha...". The Officer seems to wrap up their questioning quickly, it almost seemed like a formality for them, something to get over with as if they wanted to just go get lunch or something and not talk to me at all. Why'd they even come they knew all this information already! they practically spelled it out in their questions! Cant a girl rest!
The Officer nodded as I answered the last of their questions, then listened to something on their pager... We keen our host's ears to hear.. 'Confirmed, proceed when ready'. the officer tapped the pager 3 times in rapid succession, from the side of the porch 2 officers dressed in swat gear lunged out and moved to grapple. OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUC-
