Basic rules and character sheet above. This is intended to be a multiplayer quest with PvP elements so you guys can decide if you want to help pilot a single character or have your own. Lets see what kind of crazy shit we can get into.

A young Shinigami yawned in his seat before an overly complex console. Several small screens flickered in front of him, the panel cluttered with strange tubes, knobs, and dials—each assigned to some obscure function he could barely remember. As a rookie in the 12th Division, he'd been stationed at the Observatorium, a research outpost suspended in the depths of Garganta.

At first, the assignment had terrified him. Garganta’s reputation was one of chaos and prowling hollows—hardly a place for quiet observation. Surely, a giant floating tower would attract the worst things lurking in the void. But to his surprise, the Observatorium’s defenses rendered it one of the safest places in the three realms. Its stark white silhouette, glowing against the endless dark was entirely ignored by its denizens.

A shrill klaxon pierced the stillness, jolting the young Shinigami upright in his chair. Red lights flared across the console as unfamiliar symbols flashed and scrolled across the screens.

"What the hell!?" he yelped, instinctively slamming buttons and yanking levers in a frenzied, completely unhelpful attempt to silence the alarm. Tubes hissed and dials spun, but nothing changed.

"This is impossible," he muttered, eyes darting over the monitor. “This hasn’t happened in years... it can’t be happening.”

Then the main viewport blinked to life, and his blood ran cold. Through the static and swirling void of Garganta, something massive loomed—falling.

A fragment of the Human World—a chunk of land at least the size of a city—plummeted through a shimmering fissure, tearing into the abyss like a sinking island. Skyscrapers, roads, entire districts—all of it swallowed by Garganta’s hungry dark. The city fragment settled violently against the edge of the existing fracture, its glowing lights flickering as gravity seemed to twist unnaturally around it. Screams echoed faintly through the audio relays—terrified humans stumbling into the endless night with no sky above and the ground beneath their feet rumbled.

The Shinigami’s hand trembled as he reached for the radar dial. It was already lit up. The screen displayed dozens—hundreds—of crimson signals swarming in from the edges.

“No, no, no, no,” he whispered. “This is a feeding frenzy!”

A horde of hollows was descending—drawn to the fresh souls like sharks to blood.

Panic overtook him. He bolted from the console, nearly tripping over his own feet as he raced down the corridor. "He...heeeeelp!" he shouted "We have a breach! Human World incursion in Garganta! Civilian souls in danger! Massive hollow response incoming!”

The sterile halls of the Observatorium seemed to close in around him as he ran, alarms still howling behind him. Somewhere in the darkness, an entire city screamed for help.

The lights had gone out ten minutes ago, and the emergency backups barely lit the interior of the communications hub with a sickly orange glow. Hunched over a scorched table, an AEGIS field technician fumbled with a half-built distress beacon, wires spilling like guts from the cracked housing.

“Damn it, damn it!” he hissed, jamming a connector into place with trembling hands. “This wasn’t supposed to happen. This kind of anomaly hasn’t occurred in decades—and when it does, we’re stuck with fried relays and half-trained interns on comms duty?”

Outside, chaos reigned. Screams echoed through the broken city, mixed with the staccato bursts of gunfire—desperate, futile. He didn’t need to look out the shattered window to know how bad it was. Civilians running blind through unfamiliar terrain. Agents falling one by one. He’d heard the reports before—what happens to cities that fall into the fracture. No rescue. No warning. Just silence.

Unless he could get this beacon online.

His fingers slipped again, a slick sheen of sweat making it hard to grip the last node. Somewhere down the hall, something slammed—a body or a door, it was hard to tell. His breath hitched.

“You’ve got this,” he whispered to himself. “Just get the signal to BASTION. They’ll scramble something. Someone. Anyone.”

Another scream, much closer now. Right outside. He froze, heart pounding. Shadows moved under the doorframe. There was no more time.

He twisted the final panel shut and slammed the beacon’s power switch. The device hummed to life, a soft blue pulse beating from its core. He typed in the priority code and jammed the transmit button with his palm.

“Come on… come on…” he muttered, watching the signal strength climb, watching the beacon search for a dimensional relay. “Someone out there—just please—”

The door behind him exploded inward, hinges shrieking as a massive shape burst through in a cloud of splinters and smoke.

He spun, eyes wide, no weapon, no cover, just a blinking beacon behind him still trying to find someone—anyone—to hear the call.

At first, Saki just blinked and looked around the classroom, assuming it was one of those boring drills they did every month. She giggled and leaned toward her friend.

“Do we have to hide under the desks or whatever?” she asked, already halfway through pulling her phone out to check her texts.

But the shaking didn’t stop.

It got worse.

A sickening lurch dropped everyone’s stomachs like a roller coaster. Books tumbled. Desks scraped across the floor. The windows cracked.

And then—screaming.

When Saki looked outside, it wasn’t the usual sleepy school courtyard. The sky had darkened into a gray, bruised swirl, and something was wrong with the air—like it was humming, pulsing.

Then she saw them. Monsters. Enormous, mask-wearing beasts tearing through the streets, chasing students and teachers. People—souls?—were being dragged out of their bodies and devoured.

“What… the hell…” she whispered.

Someone screamed her name, but she was already standing, transfixed by the horror. One of the hollows looked straight at the classroom. No—it looked at her.

Her body trembled, knees weak. She wanted to run. She wanted to scream.

But then her flower hair clip, it was glowing now. Not just a sparkle or shimmer, but pulsing with warm, golden light. Like it was breathing.

“What…? What is this?” she murmured.

A sharp jolt ran through her entire body, and she gasped. Her school uniform shredded into petals of light, vanishing like cherry blossoms in the wind. Saki yelped, covering herself in pure panic—but as she looked down, she saw her skin was no longer just skin. Her arm took on the smooth beige of the wall. Her legs looked like the tiled floor. Her outline shimmered faintly, like heat off pavement, but it was incredibly hard to focus on—like her body was part of the background now.

“I—I’m see-through?! No, wait—not invisible. Just… blending?” she said, whispering in shock.

Before she could regain her bearing the wall exploded. A massive hollow—black-skinned, white-masked, all claws and hunger—smashed its way into the room. Students screamed and ran. Chairs and desks scattered. But Saki stayed completely still, pressed to the wall, her body rippling to match it like a terrified, high school-themed cuttlefish.

The hollow looked right past her and with a roar lunged after the first student it saw ripping Saki's friend to shreds. A spray of visceral and blood covered the walls. The rest of her classmates either bolted for the door but a handful had been herded together into the corner of the classroom, their only escape cut off by the hollow.

Saki scrambled across the room, grabbing anything she could get her hands on—books, shoes, a dented water bottle, even a hairbrush—and began hurling them with all the athletic grace of a falling shopping cart.

"Hey! Ugly! Over here!" she shouted, flinging a paperback that bounced harmlessly off a desk. Another throw—a flip-flop—sailed wildly off-target and smacked into a window with a sad little thud. "Ugh, why am I built like a noodle!?"

Finally, with a lucky toss, the hairbrush struck the Hollow squarely on the back of its bony head. It paused mid-prowl, growling low as it turned, scanning the room with glowing eyes full of confusion and irritation. For a moment, it couldn't see her—Saki’s Fullbring, Wall Flower, kept her mostly blended into the background. But not perfectly invisible.

Another tossed object clipped its shoulder, and the beast squinted.

Its gaze locked onto the faint shimmer of her outline.

“Uh oh.”

With a roar, the Hollow lunged, barreling toward her on all fours like a freight train of teeth and claws.

“WHY did I do that!?” she squeaked, backpedaling. The creature reared up, claws raised.

Saki screamed—not out of bravery, but sheer panic.

But the scream came out wrong. There was a ripple in the air, a sudden pulse of invisible force that blasted out from her voice like a speaker turned up to eleven. The Hollow twitched, stunned mid-motion, its balance thrown off. Its massive arm crashed down—but not on her. Instead, the floor gave way beneath its weight with a splintering crack.

It fell straight through, roaring all the way down to the floor below, landing in a heap of debris and fury.

Saki blinked, hands still clutched to her mouth. “...Did I do that?”

From below, the Hollow snarled, shaking off dust and rearing back up with murder in its eyes.

The hollow flailed around in rage its large limbs slamming into the walls and ceiling. The now compromised floor Saki and her classmates were standing on rumbled with every blow. It wouldn’t last much longer.

Ordering her classmates out of the room she took a deep breath and unleashed another sonic scream….. the hollow reared its head back holding its ears in agony .

Blood leaked from every orifice on its face as its mask cracked….. there was a loud snap but not from the hollow. The ground beneath Saki crumbled and gave way sending her crashing into the lower floor below—right in front of the hollow.

Dust and debris clouded the air as Saki landed hard, the impact knocking the wind out of her. Her vision swam, and for a heartbeat, she couldn’t tell if the scream had done enough. But then—crunch. The hollow stepped forward, mask cracked but still intact, fury radiating from its aura.

Saki pushed herself to her feet, her legs trembling and a loud buzzing in her ears. Her flower ornament glowed faintly—Wall Flower still active, but flickering from strain.

"Whoa careful, you okay there?" came an unfamiliar voice

She turned her head and saw a large bumble bee flying in circles near her and realized the buzzing was coming from him.

"Moff..." she whispered even though she had never met the creature before she instinctively knew its name.

"You're in rough shape, quick give me some panties"

Saki blushed at the request. Panties?! Why the heck did this little bee want panties at a time like this. She looked down and realized that she was naked, the beat red look on her face only masked by Wall Flowers ability.

Before she could think about anything else the hollow roared snapping her attention back to it. It sounded different this time though, no longer that of a confident predator but a desperate beast backed into a corner. Blood continued to drip down its open wounds.

It lashed out at her, tossing aside debris and desks with every swipe. Saki screamed crawling backwards as she tried to summon up the strength for another High Note.

"Well if you aren't going to give me any panties take this instead!" Moff said

Buzzing back into view he circled around her a few times before depositing an orb of light into the flower on her head. Saki could suddenly feel some vigor return to her body.

"Now finish it off!" Moff suggested pointing at the Hollow

Inhaling a deep breath Saki fired another High Note at the creature. Its own wails of pain drowned out by her voice as it shattered into dust.

"Damn you're loud" Moff complained his fingers in his ears

If there's an exit, take it. If not, make her climb the ruble and make Moff carry her to the upper floor. Remember the evacuation exercises to get out of there, make Moff refill her stamina and if you find a girl (alive) get her panties. Not her clothes because it'll be worse for Saki.

I was thinking that her powers could be based on childhood games and toys. She played with her parents. Moff was a plushie she played with, she watched Kamen Rider and so on.

It needs a time limit and a cooldown, or some mechanic to nerf it. For funsies and to make the fights more entertaining, you need clear rules for your powers. And I've been playing MOBAS for a bit so I know about invisibility.
My preferred one would be for it to only work when she's perfectly still, if she moves it worns out. Be it to attack or simply walk.
Then you have the option of 15 min of duration and 5 of cooldown.
The least I can take is that it gets dispelled if she attacks, maybe if she speaks and uses her voice.

Saki let out a sigh of relief and got to her feet. She looked up at Moff as he buzzed around her seemingly unfazed by the chaos going on around him. What the hell was going on? He looked exactly like a plushie she used to play with as a child but now he was alive.

By now everyone knew about the ongoing war against the Hollow and Shinigami. How AEGIS protected them from otherworldly threats but Saki had never really given it any thought on HOW they were protecting them. Up until a few minutes ago she was just another high school girl.

She heard foot steps coming down the hall outside of the class room and saw more kids run past, sheparded by a teacher. She had to get to safety by the sounds of it the entire city was being swarmed by these Hollow and Saki wasn't really confident she could take on another one, let alone a horde of them.

"Hey wait for me!" she called and ran after them. Moff who had been busy gathering reishi followed leisurely, taking his time to sweep from one end of the hall to the other collecting the energy but never straying too far.

The group proceeded down into a secure basement where they could hopefully wait it out until someone came to rescue them.

The inside of the bunker was dark and cramped. An emergency light at the center of the room bathed it in a dull red glow. Stepping down into it Saki could immediately make out several other figures in the darkness huddled up against the wall weeping.

A teacher standing at the bottom of the entrance ushered them all in. Another teacher, older and balding with thick grimmed glasses poked his head back out and checked down the hallway to see if anyone else was coming.

"We can't wait forever! We need to seal the bunker before they find us!" he insisted

The other teachers looked at each other, unsure and hesitant.

"If they get in here we're all dead! We aren't AEGIS! We can't help anyone out there! We need to protect the children that are in here!"

While the adults argued Saki went deeper into the fortified basement looking for any faces she knew. Her eyes adjust to the glow of flickering fluorescent lights—and then, relief washes over her. There standing in the far corner were a couple of her classmates,

Rika Tanemura the class vice president was doing her best to calm everyone down and retain her composure. She was a little battered and bruised from who knew what with one lens in her glasses cracked to the point it was probably useless.

Standing off alone however as Daichi Morimoto, a quiet loner who always seemed to prefer the company of himself over others. He was nursing a cut on his arm but gave Saki a wary but grateful nod.

"You saved us from that monster" He said tears welling in his eyes "I tried to get the others to follow me but they wouldn't listen!"

Saki gagged.

“What!? What is wrong with you?!”

“What? It’s for reconnaissance,” Moff lied unconvincingly. “I need… uh… a scent profile.”

“I’m not doing that!” Saki hissed, face burning. “She’s my friend!”

Moff just buzzed and twirled lazily through the air like a smug little bee.

Before Saki could argue further, the steel door to the bunker banged open—startling everyone.

A group of students stepped inside, swaggering like they owned the place. Tall, loud, and dressed in loose uniforms with undone buttons and dyed hair—delinquents from Class 3-C.

Their leader, a broad-shouldered boy with a cigarette tucked behind his ear, looked around the room with a crooked grin.

“Well well,” he said. “Looks like the party started without us.”

Rika stiffened, while a few of the younger students shrank behind her.

Saki stepped forward, muttering under her breath, “Oh great… these guys.”

“Oi, teach,” he said. “You gonna lock us in here like rats or what?”

The older teacher Mr. Suda, known more for his strictness than his spine—adjusted his glasses and tried to keep his composure. “This is an emergency shelter, not a playground, Kanji.”

The delinquent leader, Kanji Mitarai, tilted his head mockingly. His short, bleached hair was slicked back, and his school jacket hung off his shoulders like a cape.

“Didn’t ask for a lecture,” Kanji said, stepping closer. “I asked if you were sealing us in here.”

Another delinquent—Rumi Tadokoro, tall, gum-chewing, and perpetually bored—leaned against the wall beside him, arms crossed. “’Cause if you are, I wanna know what’s out there you’re scared of.”

Mr. Suda stiffened. “The situation is under control. For now. But you will stay here and follow protocol.”

Kanji chuckled. “Right. Protocol. You mean standing around like idiots while monsters try to eat us?”

Rumi smirked. “Could’ve taken that hollow ourselves if we got there first.”

Saki clenched her jaw, but Rika gently touched her arm, shaking her head—don’t engage.

Moff, meanwhile, whispered: “Bet Rika’s scared of him. Bet that’d make her easier to—”

“Shut. Up,” Saki whispered harshly.

Kanji turned and noticed the two girls watching him. He grinned wider.

“Well well. Looks like we got some real heroes in here too.”

As the tension grew stifling in the bunker, Saki muttered, “I need some air,” and turned toward the exit. Saki stepped forward—wearing only an oversized shirt that barely covered her underwear.

Kanji whistled, low and amused. “Damn, girl. If I knew leaving the bunker meant a fashion show, I’d’ve held the door for ya sooner.”

Saki froze in place. “What…?”

Then she saw her reflection in the metal wall and realized—with horror—what everyone else was seeing.

Her face turned bright red. “N-no, it’s because....! I’m not—”

Kanji stepped in front of her before she could bolt. “Hey, no need to run. I can walk you out. Make sure no more monsters get the wrong idea.”

His grin was shameless.

Before Saki could shove him, a sharp voice cut through the air.

“The hell do you think you’re doing?”

Mika was suddenly between them, eyes narrowed and fists clenched. “You flirting with her now, Kanji? In front of me?”

Mika was Rika's twin, one of the few people at school even more unpredictable than Kanji. She was known for getting into fights, skipping class, and allegedly punching a teacher once (though no one could prove it).

Kanji raised his hands with a shrug. “Hey, she came out like that. Not my fault she’s got a body.”

Saki tried to melt into the wall. “Please. Stop talking.”

Mika scowled, then turned to Saki. “Get back inside, princess. Before I really get pissed.”

Rika, still standing among the others, looked between her twin and Saki with concern, clearly unsure who to help first.

Saki stopped, cheeks still burning, but her embarrassment was quickly buried beneath a wave of frustration. Her fists clenched at her sides, and the faint shimmer of Wall Flower began to recede, revealing her full uniform again—though rumpled and dusty, it was intact.

“No,” she said, her voice steady despite the heat in her face. “I’m not going to hide just because you,” she jabbed a finger at Kanji, “can’t keep your mouth shut.”

Kanji blinked, surprised. Then he smirked. “Feisty. I like—”

“Don’t finish that sentence,” Saki snapped, cutting him off.

Then she turned to Mika. “And you. If you think I’m trying to steal your wannabe biker boyfriend, you’ve got a serious imagination.”

“I wasn’t showing off anything!” Saki stepped closer now, matching Mika’s glare. “My ability backfired because I just fought a hollow. You know—one of those things that nearly killed everyone upstairs? While you were strutting in late and making jokes?”

That got a few murmurs from the other students. Even Rumi raised an eyebrow at Mika.

Kanji gave a low chuckle. “Damn, maybe I should be taking notes.”

Mika shot him a sharp glare. “Shut up, Kanji.”

The tension thickened between the girls, sparks practically flying.

Then Rika finally stepped in, moving between them with arms outstretched.

“Enough! We’re supposed to be safe here,” she said, voice cracking with emotion. “We don’t need to turn on each other.”

Saki backed off first, still bristling. Mika hesitated longer—then huffed, shoving her hands into her skirt pockets and looking away.

“Whatever.”

Kanji just leaned back against the wall with an amused grin, clearly enjoying the chaos

I suppose it's over then. Probably for the better, the whole "she was actually dressed all along" was a huge turn off for me anyways. I was about to throw a tantrum.
But it had a great start, I wish there was an ecchi-shonen like this.

One that isn't dykeslop or based on a shitty deviantart fanfic from like 10 years ago would be really nice, but every time a Bleach quest shows up it either doesn't get off the ground, dies after spinning its wheels in the early game for way too many threads, or completely loses the plot either when the QM decides to add Native American myth or some other stupid bullshit into the setting, or when they have to deal with Aizen and they inevitably fuck it up massively, either making the main character so OP there are zero stakes or they're just not able to write Aizen at all.
