You are a tribe of primitive humans. You have to figure out everything. The only thing you start doing is acquiring food. You can acquire any resource you want, but beware - part of your population will have to build it and won't be able to acquire food. If you run out of food, people start dying. Time skips are a constant.

guess we can do pottery and bricks.

I'm gonna introduce a Pottery and a Bricks resources.

Then I'll advance it enough until you have enough bricks to build at least one house per turn.

I think 30 units of bricks for a house is enough. I'll add a Housing resource.

Alright, you can't do one house per turn yet, but you do have a few houses.

What you think about we increase the Growth Rate to 2% once everyone has houses? How many houses is that? Let's say 1 housing per population should do.

Housing refer to housing spaces for how many people, it doesn't mean that each person lives in one house, a bunch of housing spaces could be one house equivalent to six or seven housing. It is all very abstract.

But we can improve housing, sure.
