You send envoys along the river upstream they find a city called Digirga they have a booming fishing industry they gift you baskets of fresh fish. They have silk for trade and have massive presses they use to crush fish into oil. The oil can be used on tools and equipment to protect from rust it's also a decent ration. The envoys you sent downstream have not come back.

>Would you like to ask Digirga's council questions?

Your town focuses on making pottery. Kilns are built driftwood and grasses are collected to fuel the crafts forging. The merchants find pottery very desirable as they tend to break. You sell as many as you can. (100 Gold) You have many left over and with the rest you build a granary to store your harvests.

A merchant boat crashes near your town it was carrying a load of iron ingots. They were headed downstream; the load is worth about 600 gold the merchant says he would let you buy it for 400 gold.

Digirga is run by Ram a merchant ruler that has connections upstream. He has access to a steady lumber supply giving large sway in the council. It's suspicious to ask about a city's troop garrison but the envoys have seen about 50 spearmen keeping peace. And a few swordmen protecting nobles. They worship a man named Zeal a young man that slayed many great beasts making the river safera few centuries ago.
>Propose Deal?

The merchant says the river splits into many he takes the second fork going east and goes to Panoplie a city in war with Jackle demons. He spits onto the ground at your offer saying its less half of what it's worth. He says he will do 375.

You send scouts towards the west as the river blocks you from exploring to the east. It is mostly grass with large hills sprinkled in. After about a 30-day journey peaks of mountains can be seen over the horizon. There were no towns, but scouts saw a camp of beautiful tents they were supported by ivory tusks and covered brown shimmery that seemed to blend into the sunlight. They seemed to see your scouts as they sounded horns and started to gather warriors. The observers retreat back to Uruk on the way they find a pack of goats that they capture.

Potters continue with kilns fully loaded it's becoming a full-on profession to make one's livelihood. A guild is beginning to form. A few merchants start coming by just to purchase pottery. (200 Gold)

Giant locusts are spotted eating farmer crops they are about the size of large dog. (-800 Food)
