Last time, the Johnny convention came to a close, including the after party. Everyone had a great time, mainly you! Free from the love of your fans, you’re on a quest to make it up with Bagna, who desires cake and nothing more. You guess, anyway, anything to make up for keeping her imprisoned in cloth.

To bake the one above all, you sought the ingredients at the nearest convenience store! But you found more than you bargained for, and had a violent encounter with some low tier thugs. Nothing happened to you, but to them? It wasn’t pretty. Mama Bodil dealt with the fallout.

Now you’re at the steps of the Prison Party House! You figured this is a good place to bake the dessert, and Lydie wanted to know about Beth. So here you are!

But to your surprise, something is afoot, after the former prisoner and actual Pirate Sally opened the door — you noticed a heatwave coming from within the house. It’s summer, but Global Warming doesn’t happen in the entirety of a room.

The scarcely dressed sailor takes a moment to come to her senses after breathing some fresh air. She welcomes you!

“Ahoy!!!” The melting pirate opens her arms in exuberant excitement! “Welcome, welcome...!” She’s still melting!

“Woah! With these attributes, I know why you wanted me to meet Beth in person, my dear trophy! You surround yourself with quality people!” Lydie looks at the bounty of this pirate. “I’m one of Johnny’s greatest admirers, Lydie! Nice to meet you! ”

“Huh? Beth? I’m not Beth.” Sally snaps out of her joyous state. “I’m Sally! Nice to meet you though! And, um, I like to admire him too.” Sally returns to her happy ways with an added hint of confusion. She wonders what being an admirer means in this context. “I’m sure you’re here for more than just Beth, right? Come in!”

“Yes! But also, above all, what’s going on in there? Something’s up?” You notice that the couch inside is warping thanks to the heat.

“Oh, the thermostat broke! It’s only spitting fire! It’s terrible! We tried to fix it, but only made it worse!” Sally scratches her head in frustration.

“Oooh! That explains why you’re light on clothes!” Lydie really likes putting emphasis on other people’s bodies.

“Huh? Y-Yeah! It’s ‘cause of the heat” Sally chuckles. “You like it?”

“I think you look great!” You nod. “I’m planning on baking a cake, do you mind if I use your kitchen?”

“Feel free! My treasure is your treasure!” Sally smiles.

You got the place and the ingredients. What you only lack is help! You don’t want to get all exhausted baking this cake all alone again…

Votes are counted until 25 minutes have passed. This rule doesn't apply to the last reply of the day.

(NEW) Dice Mechanic:

We always roll 1d100s!
Since most people weren’t happy with the system of averaging top four rolls, we’re using best of 2/3/4 depending on the attribute a prompt requires. If Johnny is a genius and it’s a Knowledge based roll, he gets more rolls (Max. 7)! If he sucks, he gets less dice (Min. 2)!

When asked for rolls, I will specify how many you’re going to get. Rolling begins after it’s asked.

Rolling 100 is a critical! There are no Critical Failures anymore!

The difficulty of the roll is tied with the effectiveness of the action. In other words, the harder the option the better the result!

Don’t forget that at the end of the day, this is a story-driven quest! What the prompts are describing is more important than the difficulty of the rolls, for results in a fight.

Again, rolls are only counted when they are posted within ten minutes of being asked, so watch out!

If you really want to apologize to the huggable teacher, you can’t cut corners, this must be the best quality cake you can bake! And for that, you know the perfect dance partner for the task…

“Your attitude is commendable, Sally!” Lydie smiles back, she likes the pirate! She tries to step into the house. “AH! T-This is too hot…! Unbearable, even! M-My arm is entirely sweaty! I-Is there any other way we can go about this?”

“We don’t have an oven outside. Not even for pizzas…” Sally laments.

“Don’t worry, we’re oddly prepared for something like this!” You throw your clothes away to reveal your swimsuits. “Aloha~!” You do a fun hand gesture.

“A-ha~!” Lydie follows your example too and reveals her swimsuit!

“Ahoy~!” Sally copies your gesture and chuckles! She loves your funnier side! And that other side you’re exposing… She’s as occupied watching you, as you were watching her treasure...

“I almost forgot we can face anything! Speaking of, shouldn’t I stay outside? I take it that our Bagna would suffocate to death there.” Lydie is concerned about the teacher’s well being.

“Mhmf?!” Bagna sounds scared. For some reason, Sally doesn’t find this odd.

“No! Stay in the backyard! I’ll show you the way.” Sally nods, they’re gonna go around the house. “My unmasked buccaneer, you know your way inside, use it as you please!”

“You don’t mind if I call for help? The cake is a huge endeavor.” You shake the ingredients bag.

“Absolutely not, all your mates are welcome, matey!” Sally winks.

“Oh, such a cruel fate! I’d love to lend a hand, but someone must protect Bagna. Those dastardly seagulls were ready to impale her.” Lydie recalls something you aren’t sure ever happened.

“...?!” Bagna is in shock.

“Follow me!” Sally leads the way. “I’ll be back in a jiffy! I need to tell the others you all are here too.” She smiles.

“I’ll let you know when it’s all ready.” You wink back and step inside the Prison Party’s oven…

And so, you bear the heat upfront. It’s bad, terribly so. But despite it all, you prepare the base ingredients as you wait for Kata’s arrival. She didn’t hesitate to come to assist! The perfect dancing partner is ready for another round…

As the only person on the first floor, it’s your sole responsibility to open the door, by what Sally said, their rooms aren’t as hot as the first floor — so they are taking turns opening it.

The lively nurse arrives...

“Thanks for coming, Kata! You’re the only one I can rely on for this! You’re the best!” You’re so glad she accepted your request! You explained every detail for this Nina rescue mission. She wouldn’t leave her friend behind.

Get one for Bagna too. She’s gonna be roasting in there… which might actually help get her out of the bag, honestly.

And that detail must be explained now! You can’t have your dance partner unaware of the kitchen conditions. You two need to be on the same page, and you need to offer a solution.

Kata steps back outside to escape the unrelenting heat!

“Oh, yeah, the thermostat broke.” You can’t say you have gotten used to it, but it doesn’t stop you from doing what you’re doing. “Do you want me to ask one of the girls if they can lend you a swimsuit?” You probably should get one for Nina as well.

“Do you want me to strip outside, handsome? That’s more daring than I thought you’d like me to be...” Kata teases. “I’ll follow you around. I’d love to meet Misty’s new buddies, and it’d be a waste to leave your side now that I’m here.”

“You sure? Nina and the friend I mentioned are waiting in the backyard. I can get the swimsuit for you!” You want to save her from the melting.

“Oh, it’s tantalizing, but their expressions will be much more delightful if we come along with treats.” Kata smiles wickedly. “Besides, it’s selfish of me, but I’ve been thinking about you always managing to cheer me up today, and I’d like to spend a moment with you.” The Johnny Plushy...

“Alright!” You won’t argue now that she knows the risks. “Shall we?” You lend your arm.

“We shall!” Kata giggles as she puts her arm around the sweaty one of yours and goes in…

...And immediately starts regretting it! The heat is one of a kind, too hard to endure, more if you’re this dressed up.

“M-My, my… H-How can anyone endure this…?” The Nurse misses the air-conditioning of her workplace.

“We can’t. Let’s hurry.” You take the initiative.

“L-Lead the way, Johnny…” Kata is depending on you!

You have to decide which girl to bother quickly! Remember their appearance, because Kata will wear the type of swimsuit whoever you go for uses! No exception!

There’s no reason to stall, you rush to a room on the second floor, only guided by your instinct. There’s no line of thought that directs your actions aside from sparing Kata from the suffering of the woman-made heatwave. The doors don’t have names, numbers, or any indication as to whom it belongs. But the one you decided on *feels* right.

“If it isn’t my handsome devil…” It’s Beth! She’s trying to escape the heat by wearing very similar clothes as she did in the morning. That is to say, nothing more than a shirt and underwear, messy hair included, the heat takes a toll on everyone… “I began to believe I overestimate that cute fluffy ball of love, but I’ve been fascinated about being *so* wrong lately. Mhm, she will be rewarded. Either way, ready to continue from where we left off, love?”

“Huh, actually, I’m a little busy! I need to ask for a favor!” You clasp your hands together.

“I’m always at your service…” Beth gives herself some air with her hands.

“Hm? And who are you? You seem like a precious prospect.” Beth looks up and down to the melting nurse. “I like you.”

“Call me Kata. And oh my, you must be Beth then. My cousin spoke glowingly about you, and I see she wasn’t mistaken.” Kata likes Beth’s general demeanor. “You have an air about you.”

“Ah, Misty. I can see the similarities. Make yourself at home, sweetheart.” Beth smiles softly. “...because I don’t see you lasting long otherwise.” She notices the sweat coming out of the perfect dance partner.

“That’s why we came here! Can you lend Kata a swimsuit, please? The heat is unbearable!” You clasp your hands again.

“A bikini if it’s not much trouble, I want to show my best angles to my handsome man here.” Kata winks at you.

“Hehehe, of course, of course. Come in. I know exactly the piece you need. Let’s keep the show interesting.” Beth invites the nurse in and out of your view.

“By the way, Nina, Sally, and a new friend of mine are downstairs, probably in the backyard. Me and Kata are going to bake a cake if you’re interested.” You wiggle your eyebrows.

“I’m always interested in all you do, my beloved.” Beth giggles. “Now give me a moment to get acquainted with your partner.”

“It’ll be quite the spectacle, handsome. It won’t take long.” Kata smiles as the door closes…

You wait in the hallway until the wardrobe change is ready! Kata comes out wearing quite the revealing swimsuit…

After taking a second to let it sink in, you keep your original assessment! Your favorite nurse looks amazing!

I knew your word was worth the while.” Head Chef Kushi is delighted to see you, but seeing Kata next to you, she tries to mask some of her enthusiasm… and the Plushy behind her back. She’s stubborn. She hasn’t given up her cooking attire, but she has made some concessions to cool off a smidgen, it’s quite revealing even though it’s no swimsuit...

“Sorry for the delay, Kushi. I didn’t mean to keep you waiting this much. But I have something planned to make it up to you.” You wink. “Mind lending us the kitchen for a minute? We want to bake a cake. And I know you’re gonna love this one too.”

“Us? You want to cook alongside this… woman?” Kushi looks down on the frisky Nurse!

“Is there a problem, darling? Or do you feel threatened?” Kata giggles.

“Chef Kushi, please be nice to Kata. She’s one of the few people who has stood by me at my best and worst moments.” You highlight the nurse’s loyalty. “And she looks precious.”

“Aw, handsome. You’re more adorable than you need to be...” Kata giggles.

“Enough. I rescind my comments, but I won’t stand idle and watch an amateur ruin your potential. You don’t have proper training, we don’t need you to learn more bad habits from even lesser cooks.” Kushi stands her ground defiantly!

“It’s so endearing how closed-minded you are, Ms. Kushi. Makes it so tempting to pinch your cheeks and call you adorable.” Katastrophic smirks. “But I’ll have to demonstrate why he picked me to be by his side.”

“Let us bake the cake. It’ll become proof of Kata’s abilities!” You pump your fist.

“Very well. Only because you requested it. But if you fail to impress me, Chef, please, allow me to guide you in your culinary journey.” Kushi asks respectfully. “Keep in mind, my expectations are over the roof thanks to our last encounter.”

“Ms. Kushi, there’s a misalignment in your approach. The one you should be concerned about is me. If there’s any bet you want to place, I’m your target.” Kata throws a kiss.

“Ha. If you fail, what’s there for you to offer?” Kushi isn’t interested in what the nurse can do.

“Usually, the loser has to pay quite the hefty price. But let’s keep it to one fun request from the winner.” Kata smugly winks. “I see many ways to humble a prideful woman like you.”

“Ha! Do you have a humiliation fetish? A redundant question knowing the way you dress.” Head Chef Kushi scoffs. “You have no idea how high the bar has been set…”

“I made a career by subverting expectations, sweetie...” Kata’s will won’t be deterred.

“Heh, is that so? Then try your damnedest. The others are outside, correct? I’ll be waiting.” Kushi is as cocky as the nurse. “I need to escape this heat…”

Congratulations, the kitchen is all yours! It’s two dance partners ready to work on your next outing…

“Oh, the trouble that sweet teacher makes me go through…” Kata sighs as the heat takes a toll on her. “Let’s bake our newest masterpiece, shall we?”

“Right, let’s put our hearts into it!” You say! It’s an important part of the recipe after all… You two put your aprons on.

“No kidding.” You wiggle your eyebrows.

“Hehe, enough teasing, let’s get this going, head chef...” Kata winks back.

With a titanic effort, you and Kata do what you do best even in the hazardous circumstances, and bake the best Cake you can. The moves, the coordination, and the fun — is all immaculate. The One Cake Above All is alive...

“Despite everything the world throws at us, we’re one for the other...” Your dance partner, Katastrophe Calamity, looks fondly at this gigantic piece of heaven on Earth.

It’s not your choice to make, your tag team partner has to get all the credit she deserves — and all the rights to brag. Katastrophe Calamity will have a total reign of action! You let her know that, and together move the cake on a food cart that was lying in the kitchen. To the backyard!

“Ta-dah~!” You show off the cake to the rest of the party. Kushi, Beth, Sally, Bagna, and Lydie are sitting around a glass table on cheap plastic chairs. There's a blooming garden in the backyard, even if it’s not a large spot, it’s full of life, not dissimilar to Giorsal’s bio dome. Red Roses all over the bushes adorn the walls.

“OH LA LA~! W-What a gargantuan piece of sweet!” Lydie is the first to react! But most girls react similarly. “Can’t fathom it being eaten in one sitting!”

“Who is this cute piece of candy?” Kata isn’t aware of Lydie.

“Lydie. She’s the friend I mentioned, the one carrying Bagna.” You remind the nurse of the details you gave on the phone.

“…” Bagna doesn’t react.

“I can carry much more than a well-rounded teacher! I’m an athlete with no equal. Nice to meet you, new interesting woman!” Lydie boats. “Beautiful work on this cake! No wonder my dear Johnny is so confident about it!”

“Y-Yeah, we’ll have to share with everyone in the house! We can’t let this treasure go to waste!” Sally is really amazed. “Also, Ahoy, Misty’s cousin!”

“Nice to meet you, Sally, was it? Name’s Katastrophe. But everyone calls me Kata.” Kata smiles. “I met everyone else, so let’s get straight to the point.”

“Oh? You don’t want us to marvel at your creation?” Beth teases.

“Praises will rain after a bite or two, I’m certain.” Kata smirks. “Ms. Kushi, the time has arrived.”

“It certainly has.” Kushi isn’t impressed. They’re staring daggers at each other.

Despite Tiny Kata being wrong for saying that the girls are for you to do whatever you see fit, you think her suggestions are pretty good! Maybe this is something about you that you don’t want to unpack at the moment, but you’re a comfy despot anyway. You’re supposed to have some edge to your character.

“I did say I want to cuddle with everyone, but your request has me intrigued.” You play with your invisible beard. “Who will show their best qualities with the role I envisioned? I know!”

“Oh~? A spark of inspiration?! I’m looking forward to seeing it in all of its glory!” Lydie gets all giddy!

“The Kingdom of Coziness requires Kushi’s presence!” You say your newest loyal decree!

“Chef Ando… How I missed your pleasing visage, even if accompanied by someone else…” Kushi appears to be more affected by the cake than before. “What can I do for you? I’ve been waiting for direction.”

“Ms. Kushi? I know little about her aside from her tendency towards culinary critique!” Lydie wants to know more.

“Lydie, allow me to show Kushi’s most important qualities!” You know it’s her commitment! “My dear Kushi, will you be my maid?”

“M-Maid?!” Kushi wasn’t expecting this.

“Here’s a minuscule apron matching perfectly for your minuscule attire!” Lydie pulls out a tiny maid apron from the random nightstand next to your side of the bed. It only goes from the waist to… the upper part of the thighs.

“...Very well.” Kushi puts it on to cover something. It really doesn’t do much in this department.

“S-She agreed so easily! What happened to the prideful woman I saw before?!” Lydie is pretty excited about it.

“She still is! But my beautiful maid’s commitment is unmatched!” You get hyped up too. “Kushi, show her your cutest pose!”

“B-Behold!” Somehow, Kushi does the exact same pose as Pansori and Celia from earlier in the day, but she adds her foot in the air for extra flair!

“Wonderful job!” You approve! “Now say something adorable!”

“I want to sit on your lap, rest on your arms, and kiss you a million times!” Kushi copies Liu’s wish verbatim. The Maid also thought it was cute!

“Now, please, get us some beverages, a slice of cake, and join us here!” You invite your maid to sit beside you two!

“O-Oh my stars, she’s so gosh darn sweet, a soft beauty under a strict exterior! It’s a charm you have to dig deep for, and now it’s out in the open!” Lydie’s eyes get all shiny!

“This is so embarrassing, but…” Kushi only wants to make you happy… “...Maid or not, you will give me what I want…”
