just install and you either let it run if you have 1000mbit/s connection or you run it sometimes. not much you need to do. then it runs in the background. if you have lag/ping issues dont let it run while you do other stuff like gaming. i can only run it sometimes.

freenet is slow at first but when you run it longer it becomes faster. its downloading and caching stuff for you automatically.
