>>81465302 (OP)i learnt about the blackpill, genetic determinism, fatalism etc but i still hold onto my beliefs of "how things should be" in form of idealism. your position is far more realist but in my mind i still cope with the nietzsche quote "Man is a rope stretched between the animal and the Superman--a rope over an abyss." implying that humans have two natures, one beastly (animalistic flesh) and second superhuman (higher being in terms of ideals and reasoning). id assume that the point of mankind is to evolve out of our beastly nature and become higher beings, which might only be possible with humans that have higher intelligence than most.
still i maintain that idealist hope, the "is-ought distinction", while the blackpill may be what "is", that doesnt change that we "ought" to evolve and make things better if its possible, and for humans to stop being shallow animals that only value looks, by that same evolution.
politically i'm still just as idealistic, i prefer statism over capitalism, though i am not a marxist in the sense of working class owning means of production. i quite respect china's economy and state capitalism. i still judge others based merely on behavior/character instead of looks as much as i can, but others do not and that is very unfortunate, whether thats because they are mere animals or unevolved i dont know but i may be coping.
"if the world was more like me it would be better", the idealist cope works for me, but its also narcissistic for me to assume im a higher being for my higher intellect (also narcissistic to assume im smarter than others but whatever.)
