Why is the Middle East one of few places with monarchies?

Why are they content with monarchies? Do people in that region just like kings? Iranians even want to impose a monarchy as well

their family structure aka the clan system, monarchy is just an extension of that, also they are underdeveloped and never liberalized like we did in the west

pretty much all those monarchs were given power or support by the UK and France and they refuse to give it up

Because WW1 and WW2 wiped out most of the European monarchies.
The new world got independence from the empires who founded their colonies.
Likewise with Afreaka, even if they had kangs before colonisation.
