The female form is the ultimate aesthetic expression. Women seek it, men seek it. The difference is that the man seeks it in his woman. Male fashion isn't really celebrated that much, except by one's woman. Women don't say nice things about you anymore. Why bother to dress up nicely as a male?
The current chasm between sexes leads to many men unable to get in a relationship, but their aesthetic impulse is still there... so they project it on their own body instead of their woman (they don't have one).
