no i don't live on campus but did have a 45min commute that was 2/3 walking with no one else.
In our orientation for our degree we got shoved into sardines and we were forced to talk to eachother and i was actually sitting next to the guy who would be in my maths lectures. When i showed up for my lectures he noticed me immediately and sat with me he's a lot more sociable than me so i kinda expected that. Turns out he met another guy so before long we had 3 of us sitting in our maths lecture row. Maybe like 2 weeks in and this group of girls offered us some sweets cos they couldn't finish it before class ended and I happily obliged, our two groups talked and eventually merged cos we all would see one another round campus so we now had 6 people. I later met 2 guy i knew from school and the girls had a few friends who would sometimes join us for lectures so we eventually had 10+ people all sitting in a row and this is just all for 1/4 classes mind you. Tbh tho some of this probably only happened cos our lectures were at such bad times 8am on mondays, 5pm on tuesday and an alr 12pm on wednesdays meant we saw eachother a fair amount and always could bemoan something plus once i got a car i was hailed for being able to give everyone lifts

I guess i could have gone around and said bye to my teachers
A few of the guys i started the course with werent even there
The dude i was coolest with left before i got to school so im never seeing that dude ever again
I also regret sandbagging the school too, there were nights we would work on a vehicle for hours other nights we would be bored in the classroom and i would just leave early
