Actually yes it kind of is, people will be drawn to you and you can talk about exercise routines and supplements, it can possibly lead to wanting to join sporting groups and meeting others too. People only assume the stuff in the pick if you are grossly excessively overbuilt and obviously take gear.

Reading, drawing, playing music and talking with friends won't give you a personality.

Being physically fit can directly correlate to your potential performance in bed
aint nobody tryin to fuck a disgusting ogre that starts breathing heavy after 30 seconds because they forgot what cardio is when they no longer had to go to high school gym class.

Every gymbro I know is an educated dude who makes good use of their time. One tuns painting classes and the stuff he does blows my mind. Another is in several local bands. A third can actually talk about writing on my level with me. A lot of them have degrees.

I don't know where this idea that a healthy body and a healthy mind ate mutually exclusive came from. Probably tabletop RPG's. But the reality is that the mind is part of the body. Humans are not meant to live lying down in boxes all day. We are meant to exercise daily. The process of building your body and maintaining it involves giving your body all the things it needs for healthy function, which means giving your mind what it needs for healthy function in turn. A fitter body means a sharper mind. This was actually the thing that surprised me the most about lifting - when I started doing it regularly, I suddenly found myself thinking faster and with greater clarity than I had in years.

Here's a fun one to try. Take audiobooks to the gym with you and listen to them as you work out. Build your mind at the same time you build your muscles.

The sort of people who are liable to care about improving their body have no reason to stop there - they will likely want to improve across as many areas as they can. So it makes sense that gymrats would be talented in other domains as well.

It's a cope that the weak dyelters use. hurr if you go the gym u r le meathead and r dum I am very smart because I stay home and read da book.

I used to think like that so I know

I remember actually believing this shit when I was younger and I was so much worse for it. The most obvious reason it's wrong is that exercise improves cognitive functioning, and the person who doesn't exercise and reads books to be le interestante is a more mentally limited person than the person who reads less but exercises.

Anyway, I don't think most people are delusional enough to believe this cope anymore, I think people might have gave it more credit maybe 20 years ago. Could be that I'm just wiser now though.

A lot of coping in this thread.
Look at academia and the real world around you. You don't find smart muscly people in fields where intelligence matters.

imagine if they actually took care of their bodies and were physically as well as mentally strong. A healthier heart can better withstand all night studying and drinking coffee and energy drinks.

Being muscly can be done just with having a healthy routine and drinking that powder stuff anyway, a lot of people just don't do the powder so they aren't "muscly"

Enough with these lies. The top of every class I had in uni was a different fratbro who'd spend his time between classes working out at the campus gym.

I dont talk much. Does that mean i have no personality ? I workout and draw and do tech shit. Are doings hobbies a personality? What is a personality exactly?

That's correct. Personality is more determined by how people perceive you than anything you do. Most people just go by confidence and energy but you can do that without gym. I have rage problems and overstrain my body with work on top of exercise so I've had to just settle with walking around a lot. I put in too much of myself and can't seem to find a good pace otherwise.
Your image is pretty shit though. I don't think much of other people at all.

Cope. No one thinks that, they go "gym person hot". When they look at a skinny fat nerd I just assume they spend all their spare time playing MTG or dungeons and dragons

>bodybuilder
Those men are the extreme of the extreme, they live to pump and cut. Very few people are classified as professional bodybuilders and they spend thousands a month looking the way they do.

I think a line needs to be drawn between somewhere between "sometimes goes to the gym for exercise" and "competes in Mr. Universe" because health is important but spending most of your life in an effort to look like a 1990s Rob Liefeld drawing is kind of a waste (unless it makes you really happy).

I want to look like that because it fits the aesthetic that I want. I don't care if women like it or not, I want to look like a thuggish cartoon villain.

Stop doing this shit for women, they don't care, they want an attractive face, height and some frame.

Its a hobby and its good for you (like coffee). You are coping and seething. I always get mediocre looking bitches hitting recklessly on me on dating apps and when i shit test them just by saying "yea, i go to the gym" most of them fail hard because they try the same uppity bullshit as you about "gymgoers are bad people" and i just leave them on read. I know it pisses the fuck off and i know they are seething because they know they failed the test for acting like idiots and now they gotta find a soiboi with limp dick with zero fucking cardio capabilities to have disappointing sex. Every.single.fucking.time.
