Yes, we used to be one of the biggest cultural towns in the city but they realized festivals and other music fests where people get drunk bring in more money so they focused on that, making it so the other events get no real chance.

thats fucked up. i went to a little community event today. i didnt do much but walk around and get a steak sandwich :L it was pretty schmep and i was more focused on not making a mess while eating lawl
but the day was nice out, damp and dreary: sky looked like it was bout to burst lol.
i was more interested in the daily newspaper. i like the funnies... a lot. (/co/ is one of my other main boards : 3)

yuck. hate normalfag parties. i am not sure either.. except for the internet. it is the only way ive made any connections past elementary school and im not joking about that. i have never made a friend naturally outside of my house past elementary ... and then one time in middle school but she didnt care much to reach out so we didnt stay friends and then she dated my brother and broke his heart then she added my brother and all of her exes to a group chat on snapchat and then they all made fun of her. so. idk

Kinda similar, Primary and middle school i did online cuz tism, force myself through highschool but since i worked mornings i had to study at night with a less than like minded crowd, drugs and sex in bathrooms and min maxing routes home not to get mugged or stabbed type of thing lol

Cultural anything. We still have our religious event that is used by others to drink a lot. But we also had nightly museum events that just arent a thing anymore, reading events that got pushed back to the smaller community halls, a cycling event that got started because amateurs and some pros liked shooting the shit together. It attracted more and more people over the years and now the city has banned(relocated it to a far off field) it because modern tourists hated having to wait to cross the street whilst cyclists pass by.

my city holds lots of events during the summer. most of the time im to shy to actually interact with whatever is going on, but i like to walk by myself and do some people watching. kind of reminds me that this is what life is all about :] some irls actually convinced me to go to one of the festivals being held here later this summer..... (im nervous)
