idk. if youre in germany or something and taxed at like 45% of your income that mostly goes to a robust benefits/pension scheme you will never benefit from i could understand wanting to escape that just for the principle of the thing.

If you're actually ambitious and successful America >>> Europe. Much, much higher earning potential in the US. Average American STEM salary mogs their European counterparts hard, plus there is less red tape and lower taxes if you want to start a business. If you just want to get by doing the bare minimum and have the government give you a great safety net Europe >>> America.
