She was always very kind to me, and would talk to me unprompted sometimes. I liked her, but I didn't ever think she liked me, you know cause she is a girl. I figured she was just being nice, but now as I've grown older I wonder. Did she like me?

Forgot to mention, I never asked her anything. I didn't ever realize she wanted to talk to me, I don't know I was just very socially inept. To me it felt like when she was talking to be, it was the same as someone asking "Can you hand me that spoon?" like they don't actually want to talk to me, just kind of just do. Doesn't make sense I know, anyways she would ask me something, I'd reply with a short answer, she asks me something again, I reply with short answer, I never ask her anything due to me believing she wouldn't like that, that she was just asking and did not want a conversation.
