hi anons its cake and ice cream nona back again
whats everyones favorite dessert dish? do you know how to make desserts from scratch? how much would you realistically pay for a quality dessert? i think a nice simple large birthday cake with sprinkles and buttercream frosting should be around $20

i dont know who cake and ice cream nona is but hello
>dessert dish
tiramisu and ice cream
>how much would you realistically pay for a quality dessert?
i dont know, i rarely eat desserts outside
>large birthday cake for $20
isnt that the price for a regular cake you find in any supermarket? arent they a bit more expensive if you bake them yourself

I can make things from scratch, so I'm picky when it comes to desserts especially baked goods. I like desserts with berries or that have some sweet and tart or tangy flavor to them. I'm cheap so I wouldn't spend more than ten bucks on a single dessert unless I was convinced it was actually made from scratch or otherwise special.

>whats everyones favorite dessert dish?
I don't know about everyone but I like red velvet cake.
>do you know how to make desserts from scratch?
No of course not, I'm an incel. I have no talents.
>how much would you realistically pay for a quality dessert?
I paid $7.50 for a slice of cake the other day so I guess at least that much.
>i think a nice simple large birthday cake with sprinkles and buttercream frosting should be around $20
Everything costs $20 now, go for it.

>cant you find that at a supermarket

then you must like jelly filled donuts then, i must admit those are really good.. sometimes i cant handle the texture of jelly foods because its too weird in my mouth but other times its truly delicious
my favorite donut must be a lemon custard filled one coated with powdered sugar

>red velvet
i think red velvet is really good if youre in the mood for it, its just chocolate cake dyed with red 40 with cream cheese frosting on top
>i have no talents
you can always learn anon
>paid 7.50 for only 1 slice
that is really expensive man, why is everything so expensive these days? are we in a dystopian hellfire society?

favorite dessert of mine has got to be a rich german chocolate cake, with all kinds of chocolate shavings/chocolate chips or some sort of black forest cake. i love chocolatey stuff because its a deeper flavor, especially dark chocolate cause its super savory but extremely sweet as well
>i thought you wanted to sell cakes
no, im just on a diet right now and fantasizing for when i get off my fast

I made a cake with oatmeal and it's pretty good. The dense calories get me through the cold nights.

I want to eat this. I make food more than bake though. I can bake like different kinds of things though but never find a real purpose for confectionery. I don't know what I would pay for it but I wouldn't have an issue if it was small alongside the meal. I'm more of an ice cream kind of person. Maybe like root beer float
