Job's like that are less desirable because most people want a good work culture, they want something they genuinely like doing, etc. But for some people they may be able to ignore all of that stuff and still work some of those job's....that is if they paid well, and they don't, so with all of those cons, most folks would just rather not do them.

I only apply for low status jobs because those are the only jobs I'm qualified for. Weird thing is I've never seen janitor openings on Indeed. I tried dishwashing once but it was too difficult for me.

Have you ever applied to be a janitor? You need like 2 master's degrees in chemistry or 25 years of experience. They never call back. Same with dishwashing, you need 10 years of experience washing dishes before they consider interviewing you

i was a dishwasher once and quit because i cried in front of everyone. even that kind of job is hard to get nowadays. the only places i hear are nearly always hiring are warehouses, but that is a fate worse than death.
