Is being a guy just shit for the first 30 years of life? If I were to look at my life, it has probably been more shit than not. Hardly any friends, gf, and no money. Of course there might be some bias on here, but isn't that partly the reason why we are seeing the rise of the right wing? The only positives I have are not having any health issues, and the hope to have enough money by 30+ to fuck off occasionally on vacations to places and hobbies (if ww3 doesn't break out).

Modern society simply isn't set up for young men. Women like to consume more pointless bullshit, they adapt to corporate culture and politics better, they're happy to sit on a fucking macbook at starbucks all day making pointless spreadsheets. I lived in a third world shithole in the Himalayas for a few years and I was so much happier then. Women weren't universally histrionic and insane. You could get good food and liquor for cheap. Nobody worked very hard so there was much less pressure. Sure life wasn't perfect, but I imagine thats much more similar to how life was for our grandfathers than life in the west is now. It felt like I had a reasonable balance of life problems and reasons to actually face those problems. I was forced to return to America and now I hardly have the energy to get out of bed. The problems feel so insurmountable that it seems like there's no point trying to fix anything now. I think on a societal level things will inevitably change. The old generation are dying, the younger generation are pretty much all waking up to how bullshit things are on some level even if just bitching about work or whatever. Men and women hating eachother forever until the species goes extinct is pretty unlikely. However, for this specific moment in history I think it just fuckings sucks to be a young guy. I'm a lucky enough guy to be able to get women and a nice job if I wanted but for what? So I can have some cunt prostitute gf with no personality? So I can afford the latest goyslop and probably have to pay off a fucking 20 year loan on a fucking apartment?
