my grandma used to take me to the house of these to kids that she babysat. the girl was like a year or two older than me but she was so cool. i didn't really have feelings for her though because i was just 6. anyway that was the closest i had to a childhood female friend. i just liked boys better

My autistic friend that I used to be gay with is now dating his female childhood friend and to be honest and it's been going for a long time now, I'm glad I didn't steal him away from her since they're a much better fit relationship-wise.
but permanently in the multiverse now, there exists a universe where I'm in her place, and she's the drug addicted third wheel.
I'm not sad things are the way they are, I'm happy for my friend and we still have a close bond, we just don't fuck anymore.
