But anyway, back to the Topic Discussion. If you were in the Star Wars universe and force sensitive, would you rather be a Jedi or a sith/dark Jedi, depending on the timeline? I''m kinda torn between this, the Sith are definitely cooler and aura farm better, but they're EVIL. The Jedi are noble and honourable, or at least most of them are. What'd we think robots?

The jedi are very narrow minded and refuse to even entertain the idea that an entire HALF of the force could be useful. Plus they're hardly noble or honourable. They steal children from their families and brainwash them into mindless servants of a corrupt republic. They kill hundreds probably thousands of times more than the sith.
I think the most convincing argument for using the Dark Side is that it's the only way to reach your full potential. If you lock yourself into the dogmatic ways of the Jedi not only will you always be subservient to a master, you will only be able to reach, at most, half of your potential Powah.
Use the Dark Side, I beg you, only then will you be strong enough to loose your virginity.

In order to reach your full potential in the dark side, you must sacrifice anything or anyone that you hold dear, since they are a "weakness." So you'd have to murder your whole family just to use force lighting a little better

The dark side is subjugation of the force, the light side is coincidence with the force. "Grey" jedi like qui gon recognized that the jedi often labelled things dark side that were really coincidence with the force, without delving into subjugating the force to their will. Doing so often even physically destroys you over time, with sith eyes and skin rot and such

No you don't. Count Duku never did anything "evil". Neither did Luke (who didn't use force lightning but certainly could have if he wanted to enough. Force choke is definitely dark side tho and he does that without any hesitation).

I haven't reached much of the legends material, but in the movies, he was in danger of falling to the dark side; throughout the OT, he was predominantly a light-side user. Dealing with some DS temptations is not the same as being a DS user

Everything material. Desiring power is literally the whole point of being a Sith. In the Darth Plagueis novel, Sidious killed his entire family and then joined Plagueis.

Dooku wasn't a true Sith, he was a Sith as a ends to an means. I think you could argue he was a grey Jedi. And Luke had his own version of force-lighting that was "Purified" iirc
