>>81529438Reality never gets old, it's literally impossible to be aware of it all. Do you know about KGBFOAM or globigerina ooze? From the depths of the ocean to the reaches of space and it's filled with stuff doing all sorts of wild things together, it's up to you to keep looking for things to be interested in. If you're numb to it all that's a symptom of your body failing you, not evidence of an empty universe. Numbness is self-fulfilling and even if it wasn't there's hard work between you and feeling something. I think you would like to feel, which means you have fuel to work with, but it will always be work. We can't even prove the universe will end (heat death is just as much a theory as quantum immortality, dark matter may mean an endless cycle of crunch and bang) but you believe you have the answer to an entire life. Possible, but seems unlikely to me, especially when you're describing feelings so common they've been named. Maybe it isn't worth the effort but what if you're wrong?
