Not really. I don't know at what point I started to dislike travel that much

Maybe is because I snore a lot and make it unpleasant for whoever travels with me but yeah, it's just too much of a hassle.

Visited there while living in Korea. Beautiful country with wonderful people, but apparently the wages are dogshit and you'll be faced with xenophobia at every facet of daily life. Better to go as a tourist, I think, but know where you're going and respect the culture.

On an unrelated note, I've been rejected from every single English teaching job/position in Japan, despite having degrees and internship experience with a Japanese NGO.

that's how it goes with any country you try to expatriate to, no matter how close its culture is to your home country. even if you find a large community of people from your own country you're probably going to fuck off back home unless you're escaping from really bad conditions or your cohort is massive enough to essentially be its own country within a country
