What the fuck do you do if your school friends didn't stick around? I'm a decent-looking, outgoing and social person, but even I have trouble making meaningful connections.

Never even had friends when I was in high school. My guess for how people make friends nowadays is through work, conventions, bars, and other social gatherings. Again, it's a guess since I don't have friends!!!!

Get a face to face hobby you can like and be regular. Don't know if this can make your friends, but you can get buddies that way.
