Which is weird because I can imagine this world but without cancer

Well, a being who is omnipotent but not omnibenevolent could create an imperfect world, but a being motivated by the well being of his subjects would certainly want to create a perfect world

The world is perfect. Man is inclined to think otherwise because he ate the apple and this arrogance thus guides his every outlook

imperfect by what measure? you're not omniscient, you don't know what god knows. i'm not religious but i always hated this kind of question that smug atheists always ask.
>why would god create a world full of suffering?
he's omniscient and you're not, therefore your assessment of god's creation is completely unqualified thus irrelevant.

I don't think I need to be omniscient to figure that one out

imagine knowing nothing about medicine and observing a surgery. as soon as they make the first incision you say, "he botched it! we're supposed to be healing this guy and he just cut him open instead. this surgeon is either stupid or evil." you would look like a fool. that's kind of how you look when you presuppose and omniscient creator and then question his creation.

I don't presuppose an omniscient creator, I'm demonstrating why the existence of an omniscient (and benevolent) creator is extremely unlikely
Your analogy is retarded unless you legitimately believe that flesh-eating bacteria offer some benefit to mankind and we just don't know what it is yet

If we're under that assumption then absolutely everything is absolutely perfect.

Boy scout troop gets eaten by a bear? Perfect. Orphanage catches fire and everyone dies? Perfect.

>but he doesn't care about humans, he has special secret plans you don't know about
Then why the fuck am I asked to worship that asshole? Sure, maybe there is some magician hiding in outer space who makes everything happen, but if he makes shitty stuff happen to the point it causes species-wide misery and suffering then fuck him. I owe him nothing, he's an unprovable concept to me that doesn't interact with me on any level and keeps making my planet shitty in spite of how many people ask him not to.

I won't argue his potential existence, but I will argue that I shouldn't have to give a fuck about a silent, invisible guy who makes humans suffer because of "mysterious ways".

just because you're a perfect being doesn't mean you can't make something that isn't perfect, if anything a perfect all powerful being can do whatever it wants and for whatever reason it wants it can make an imperfect world.
that's a silly question anon, you're making a silly assumption.
