Has anyone lost interest in people because they don't have that spark that allows you to connect with them? When I'm around family, they don't seem to think about what I'm thinking, and as a result, I can't connect with them.

I don't connect with my family either. They can't understand my thoughts.
I just do it mechanically, they invite me to family gatherings, I come and just do what I am supposed to do and lay down my simple desires and opinions from myself (that I don't really share just my external shell I show to normies).
Thing is it's kinda working, I don't feel genuinely connected, but it's still something, at least at superficial levels I feel some satisfaction.
