They can appear in any way you can imagine. No image is too absurd. Giant ant dancing around in a top hat? They can do that too. I've never heard of it, but I've heard enough disguises to know they can appear as anything.

That's tricky. I think Minnesota is up there, though. A great mix of wildlife and cool urban stuff, fun food, friendly people, a pretty good place to live in addition to a good place to visit
