I keep getting boomllenial women coming into my job immediately throwing a fit whenever we get an error, repeatedly asking me if they can bypass rules and forcing me to call my supervisor, or finding unique ways to get the associates in trouble.

Older women and white women are the biggest offenders. This only applies to bad eggs nonetheless.

You have to stand for hours at a time constantly cleaning, attending to strangers' needs etc. Most people will be polite at checkout but you can easily get overwhelmed at times during busy days.

If you don't have experience with Karens they can ruin your day or even put your job at risk. Sometimes you job will have a specific person, who comes in and gives you problems. In my case it was an old lady with dementia who brings the same used coupon and asks the same questions, but she only comes on Saturdays and I rarely get Saturday shifts.

With males, I've only had bad interactions with black guys, but it's kind of a "bad at the start, cool by the time they leave" situation. I just tell them "don't worry man I got you" and do my job well. At a previous place I had guys that were obviously criminals come in and they always treated me nicer than the woman I had like an hour previously that was upset something ran out of stock "because it's never been out of stock when I come here".

I'm not on commission, but I get a good salary and nice performance bonuses based on how well I perform and how well the department does. We don't have commission for the jobs like mine setting prices because it creates a conflict of interest where you could be tempted to sell at a loss if it made your own paycheck bigger.

The sales team gets commissions but they have to hunt down leads, deal with the clients IRL and put up with a lot more bullshit from them than I do. My client interaction is limited to emails and the occasional Teams video call. Sales can ask me for price targets like "If we reach $__ I know we'll sell" but ultimately it's at my discretion because I'm the one who gets chewed out if we lose money. Another way of putting it is sales is like the register wagie who gets bitched at by angry customers for prices he can't control while I'm the guy at corporate actually determining the price that gets him bitched out.

I like to say, "Have a good day/evening" to retail wagies after a successful transaction. Some are genuinely fucking shocked by it.

I used to work at a retail store and women would compliment me and tell me I looked like their husbands when they were young. I've also had women compliment my nose and hair lol. There are shitty people, usually old people, but I got the most compliments ever in my life while working at that store.

I used to work retail and had the same issue. Mostly middle aged-old white women were rude and condescending and wanted to speak to the manager. Now I don't work there anymore, I get bad service quite often and sometimes even shop staff are rude. I guess it's a personal thing rather than the job i'm in. People just dislike me.

They aren't just like this as customers anon they are standoffish and presumptive and super judgmental always. I am not an incel, I'm a guy with a gf, sisters, a mother, I love them all. But the old adage "men are from mars women are from venus" i.e. we're like two separate species stuck together, are very true. Every bloke I have worked with has mostly been calm and open minded and friendly. Every lady I have worked with has always been into nasty gossip and making the worst assumptions about everyone. They always randomly talk about weird subjects like incels and right wing politics (which they hate but can't stop talking about) like half my work day is spent listening to my women colleagues in the background ranting about how bad Trump is. I'm not even a political person so if they come at me with it I usually just nod and agree. But inside, I'm like why are these people so negative? And I can't help but notice it's only the women in the office? KEK label me an incel or a misogynist or whatever tho tbf misandry is a lot more common just no one will acknowledge that. Anyway I love women but I wish they'd get out of their own heads sometimes and just chill
