Depends what you mean, but in some contexts yes. Unlimited freedom is a myth, being bound by a credo others you wish to associate with share is a requirement for the highest level of freedom. Some freedoms including the freedom to experience certain things only exist because of rules.

Yes I would give up everything just to be happy again

but also like if you are happy without having freedom you probably get what you want without disrupting your free will cus like not having freedom doesnt mean wanting it and not having, you simply may not want it, so thats okay too ig
