My biggest problem socializing is not having problems understanding people, it's that I don't like being mean. I don't care about status games but it underpins almost every single social interaction there is. Having to defend your place in a hierarchy so that people treat you with respect makes being mean seem like almost a necessity. Lots of people see not partaking in it as either a sign of weakness or arrogance as well, which makes the problem worse.

Oh man you want to talk status games? Nothing worse than some fagot that comes off talking about how he was a seal and talking all that bullshit and lies about where they were and what they did, and you just sit there and nod along. That's when you go ahead and get Don Shipley involved and you can laugh at the fuckers after they get called out for not being a seal.People who sit there and talk about all of their bullshit accomplishments are insufferable. I just figure everybody's lying to me anyways. Basically the more bullshit you tell me, whether or not it is true, just makes me more suspect of you and makes me hate you more. Because I generally just hate people. And then there are the people that will tell you that they've never done anything or been anywhere, so you think you're going to be in the clear with a normal person, but then they just keep talking about how much they haven't done and start to get all "woe is me" and shit. The only person in the entire world that I would ever want to hear any of their bullshit, is a girlfriend. That's the only person I give a shit about what they have done and what they haven't done in life. Everybody else can eat ass on the road.

I feel like someone is really lucky to have you as their uncle and you have a permanent sunburn in a way that really suits your demeanor

It occurred to me years ago that there had to be other people who thought like this, so I started going to church.
