For storage (not gaming) I have found iron Wolf to be very dependable. I'm using a 12 TB NAS iron Wolf in my main and a set of four 6 TB in raid in my media Sonic pro raid h8r2 backup cold storage.

They are Nas drives so they spin up when storage is accessed and lay dormant when storages not being used. Perfect for keeping file integrity from degrading over time. You can play games on them but I have found that some games will have performance issues I really do need to be on an SSD to perform properly.
