what music taste do you have, anon?
why do you like the music you like?
for me, it's metal or rock oriented genre. i tend to spend a lot of time in my room listening to music and searching for new bands to listen to. i like the rawness and/or emotion that is in their songs.

I don't really have a set genre, I listen to all sorts of things. About to listen to the Cure. A lot of what I do listen to is depressing, but I'm a pretty depressing person myself.

the cure is good. i have listened to them before.
>A lot of what I do listen to is depressing, but I'm a pretty depressing person myself.
same here, i like shoegaze, screamo, and i guess anything that sounds melancholic. i don't know if you can consider those directly related to rock or metal, but they use the same instruments.

No. You're wrong. You must have a certain inclination.

I am utterly bipolar with my taste. And I love it.
Today I listened to Deerhunter, Health and now the Cure. Tomorrow I might listen to Bonnie Prince Billy, Chat Pile and Shabazz Palaces.

Ok, well that's still a certain inclination you're showing. So when you say you listen to everything, it's not true. You have varied tastes but they are still characteristic.

I believe the best music there is is the one with the best structure, which is often in classical.
But the most important aspect of music for me is it's interpretation value. How much you can feel directly with the sound. Compared to films, books and any other medium, music can give you feelings directly, without a basis on reality for it to work. The pure raw emotion. I found myself thinking that listening to boris.

I've been told that my taste in music is "theatre kid core." My favorite band is Tally Hall and my favorite singer is Marina. I understand that these musicians are generally preferred by tranny leftist faggots. I enjoy listening to them but I am ashamed by this fact.

I like all sorts of music, is probably my favorite thing ever to listen the patterns, the rhythms the lyrics and all that shit, the subtexts behind the noise and the interpretations of it
>why do you like the music you like?
sounds alien and somewhat anachronic at times

My favorite genre is electronic music, all genres but I often find myself interested in weird IDM computer noise things, my favorite from them all

at least for me at some point when it becomes too calm i'd rather not listen to music at all. i really like something like the following, but thats the farthest i could go

hmm it's understandable but like good ambient goes well when you're even tired of listening to drums, you only need melody and barely, the rest is just atmosphere

i listen to music pretty deliberately and never in the background so that never happens much. it's kind of a shame since ambient can often be pretty nice

Sounds like "Soundgarden" might be up your alley. I've listened to them a lot growing up as an edgy teenager and I really liked how they were not so one tone like many other bands.

>what music taste do you have, anon?
Anything except trap and bro country. I have rated nearly 5000 albums on my RYM account so I really do mean anything.
>why do you like the music you like?
It was probably playing Frequency on the PS2 when I was 7 or so years old that started me on the path to really getting into music.
