The furry community encourages creativity (creating art, going to specific cons, writing fanfics, creating elaborate suits, etc.) to satiate their fetish, so it makes sense they're naturally high IQ.

The furries got into coding and software shit as a side to running dedicated furry sites since they get run out of everywhere all before the oversaturated giga bubble we have today, while the weebs just watched tranime and beat off to hentai

good question. sounds like there is symbiotic relationship between high paying careers (like infosec) and furrydom. you both need $$ to be in that fandom and being in that fandom advances your career and gives $$.

Swear to god I met three furries IRL, one of them was a chemical engineer, another other was a medical doctor and the last one was a literal fucking astronaut.
Blows my fucking mind. I've been working fast food jobs for the last decade and these people are running around with chemical engineering degrees and launching themselves into space.
