I want a relationship so badly that it honestly hurts. How do I stop letting it mess with me this much?

Haha if I knew I wouldn't be here, would I? The best thing to do is to try to build your self-esteem up by yourself (still working on that myself) and trying to make your life fulfilling to you without a relationship (also working on that). Whatever that looks like to you is the solution, someone else is not going to make you whole (or your life whole) unless you're lucky enough to find someone that's right for you
