Could approach women from a different department at work but I'm never not going to be scared to do an IRL approach. The risks massively outweigh the benefits.
I've also thought about what I'd even do if I approached a woman and she said yes. Like...where do I go from there? I have no social media. I guess I'd give her my phone number? Then I'd probably end up being too scared to call her. But if I do call her and she agrees to a date, I have no car (I don't want to drive) so it would either be walking or a taxi/Uber to get her. Even I realize that's already weird for most women in my country, as stupid as it is (cities are walkable here, you don't need a car to do anything).
If I get her to go on a date with me...what do I even talk about? My porn collection? My love for some video games? Computers/tech? Living with my mom at 30 because I'm building wealth to retire early? How I never want kids or marriage? You get the idea, it's very hopeless so I'd rather not even bother. It would end up some sort of humiliation ritual at any given one of those steps.

I've never approached women. But I've been approached a few times in my life. I've been called a chadlite but I'm a total sperg with 0 confidence.
The handful of times I've gone out with my normalfag friends I've had women smile and wave at me and my friends would try and get me to go and talk to them. But at that moment my brain shuts down, my legs go numb and my heart starts going 1000 beats per second
