I'm and oldfag, I was an adult by the time USB was invented, the main hurdles would be making sure the USB stick was formatted in fat32/fat16 and the file formats would be readable on a Windows 98 machine, and not losing the USB drive between the time I received it and I had the resources to purchase a computer that could read it. During the first .com bubble, they were throwing money at anybody that could code shell scripts or html. I know a guy who made a million dollars in the 90's and retired by 30.
