It's nothing different from another anons life. Bullied during school, dad died when I was 14, he was my hero, and helped me immensely. I just fell apart after that, stopped caring about things. Escapism through drugs when a child (speed, LSD, weed, ecstacy), got access to smack and that briefly made me forget about the hurt, then stopped that, and went back to weed, lots of ecstacy, lots of alcohol, stopped drinking as much, kept on with the weed, as it does genuinely help chill me out and able to function a bit better (I get extremely jittery and mind racing away [as do others, so it's a weak excuse).
