I sent a complimentary meme to a moid once and he insisted we have a talk afterwards because it made him so uncomfortable. It was mildly flirty at the most extreme interpretation, and he frequently makes gay sex jokes or similar flirting with his guy friends all the time which just tells me he sees me more as an orbiter good for emotionally dumping on and seeking reassurance when convenient than a real friend.
