Man i feel like such a failure because i literally cannot get a GED, couldnt pass highschool, and just cant do basic math. im on disability, live with my parents, and i think i have dyscalculia or something because despite studying, reading math books, watching tutorials, practicing problems, i just cant do math past like 4th grade level despite being 23. ill never be able to live on my own, or drive a car (cant do that either), or have a job or ever have any of my own money, just kill me

Literally me, I feel like my life was ruined because I was born dumb, I'm a socially anxious autist and unlike most socially anxious autists I can't get a STEM degree and work an autist job like coding or something. I was also quasi-diagnosed with dyscalculia in school.

Do jobs really care about high school qualifications? (I've never had a paying job) I live in the UK and I don't think we have an equivilent to a GED, just individual grades on subjects. Needless to say I failed math, but I don't imagine an employer would ask for high school grades, especially for something like retail etc.

It's not ideal, I'm in the same position, living at home, but you have to play the cards you're dealt, just try to get some hobbies that don't cost money, pirate all your shit and try to distract and enjoy yourself the best you can.

I met a male nurse (or CNA i dunno), kinda old, who was very good at his job
I asked him once: if I walk 2 miles per hour, and I walk for 5 hours, I should have walked 10 miles total, right? Because that was what I was doing at the hospital.
He looked like he was really struggling with that question. Took a lot of time to confirm it.

can you take the Hiset instead? it only goes up to like 8th grade math and you only need a 8 out of 20 to pass
