Are there any other anons who don't game?

I never really got into gaming and now I'm kind of afraid to ask. I've only ever played apps and mobile games. I feel like I missed out on some secret lesson that everyone else learned. How do you game? What device do you use? I've only got an iphone and windows laptop. Where do you find games? This is scary bros how the fuck did I miss out on this thing that everyone else seems to know automatically??

I have a pretty good laptop, and I use that for all my gaming. I mostly prefer older games, so my computer is good enough to play the PC games I want and emulate the console games I want.

If you want to start gaming, there are two things I can recommend. The first is to go to gog.com for PC games. They're always running some kind of sale, so you can get lots of games for cheap. You could also look into emulation. Emulation is where people create programs that let you play console games on a PC. You'll need a fairly good computer to emulate games from the PS1 era and beyond, but pretty much any modern computer can emulate anything up to the 16-bit era, which would include the NES, SNES, Genesis, and some others. That's a huge library of games you can get for free from various websites.
