it feels like the summer is just about ending in america. i can taste it on the tip of my tongue.
gdp is technically rising, but its obviously just the government gaslighting people into thinking things are fine though, since standard of living is still complete shit here except for most places.
im always getting hit with the feeling that things are ending real soon, you guys getting that feeling too?

They are still printing dollars. Interest rates mean jackshit at this point.

not really, this kind of feeling like america is just on the cusp of finally falling apart happens basically all the time, even during the cold war. Americans are overanxious and still have a penchant for reinvention. They have an acute awareness of their own instability and want to resolve it eventhough it seems hard. There's a huge diversity of ideas on how to do that, but there is an agreement that something must necessarily be done. That's not the case everywhere. I think some countries will lose, but whatever new multipolar world the us inhabits it will still endeavor to stay highly competitive at any expense.
